Before a debate goes here I shall say this: According to the oratrice mecanique d'analyse cardinale the prophecy was true but many things interfered with their fate so it changed and the prophecy turned into wrong one

the prophecy was inevitable but Focalor's plan was to make the Heavenily Principles think it was fulfilled while Neuvilette regained his power and made the Fontainian's actually humans and in lieu washed away their sins (jesus style) the prophecy happened but focalors created the loophole by having her human side play archon/god and have the appearance of the "hydro archon weeping on her throne" while the divinity side basically killed herself and the role of the hydro archon so Neuvi could play his part in cleansing Fontaine of their sins so they wouldn't actually dissolve like the prophecy said so. sorry for the ramble, i like the lore a lot

@@Heavenly_Winterit was still true, till the very end, the people of fontaine were supposed to dissolve but Neuvillette turned the fontainians into "true humans" in which the people could no longer be dissolved by the water of the primordial sea, so only one thing did interfere that erased a small part of the prophecy, everything else was irrelevant to said prophecy

it was true, but furina doesn’t know that! like we saw in the cutscene where the water recedes, furina and all of the ppl just assume the prophecy was wrong, and neuvillette never told anyone other than the traveler that he changed the prophecy, so furina is still under the assumption that the prophecy was just wrong the whole time

The prophecy was never wrong Focalor sacrificed her life and the hydro throne for the sins to be forgiven ^^

yes!! and neuvilette changed the prophecy after regaining his full powers by turning the fontanians into real humans- so while the prophecy did come true, and the water levels did rise as did furina did sit weeping on her throne the people thankfully did not dissolve thanks to focalors, neuvilette and of course our lovely furina!!

its a event that happens every year to celebrate new years (or smt, i kinda forgot) it hasnt started yet but its a quest in liyue that once completed turns into the proper event, if you arent high enough to have completed liyue or atleast done most of the archon quest i dont think you can do it

people used to think she was from fontaine due to the way she dressed and her job, however she has confirmed herself she was born in mondstadt so im not sure why the creator of the edit added her 😭😭
