Lore drop because you asked if the Shogun knew Scara or not! Yes it is true that The Shogun puppet and Ei both have no recollection of him after the irminsul incident, but another thing often missed is that while Ei previously did leave Scara with a golden feather meant to show his connection to her, she neglected to add anything to the Shogun that would allow her to recognize him. Therefore, the puppet Shogun has no clue who he is before nor after the erasure. Another small thing is that when he tried to visit Ei, he unknowingly met the Shogun instead, who turned him away. This is also important to understand when it comes to why he feels that he is completely neglected- because the Shogun had no clue who he was from the start.

If we look through shinobu and Raiden, they both have similarities. They lost everything and is filled with anger, sadness, revenge and a lot more. The only difference they have is that, Shinobu hides her anger through her smiles and kind of developed Kanae's personality, while Raiden became cold, and doesn't show lots of emotions, maybe sometimes but mostly just a straight face. Idk what I'm saying but I just noticed this while watching

Oh my what an interesting group of characters Although im a bit confused here is this actually the puppet Raiden Shogun or Raiden Ei It’s bc I haven’t noticed any of these characters whether it’s Ei or the Shogun that reacting with them The personality seems like the shogun but the way characters imply more to Ei 👀(Example:You end up betraying your own son or something like that)
