I, deeply hope that Lizzie remembers at some point, when our Ciel clearly was showing her affection. Or how he admired her, truly when she saved him during the Book of the Atlantic arc. Looking back at all the moments she had with Our Ciel, it just felt more real like Our Ciel truly loved her I mean I can’t count the numerous times our!Ciel put Lizzy first before even his own life. I feel....possibly anyone would’ve wished the same thing in her situation for their lover to come back rather than their lover’s brother. So I’m not even going to judge her for that especially since she herself realizes and acknowledges that she’s no better than Our!Ciel (since he lied) for knowing for a fact that she would be unhappy if Our!Ciel came back as himself

When I read the manga .... I felt complicated..... I felt Lizzie only cared about the 'Ciel' she was engaged to.... She felt bad because the fake ciel would have married her..... But the thing is..... The fake ciel only wants to be the earl of phantomhive....... He wants revenge ...... He wants all those who killed his brother and parents to suffer... The fake ciel .... I guess he knew that he would never her..... Since Sebastian is going to take his soul after he completes his revenge.... Plus.... I also felt bad for the fake ciel... When I read thier back story..... No one has called him by his name..... Rather than Ciel's twin ... He was treated like Ciel's imposter.... He...who was there with them while all the times.... He ... Who did all the work as the Queen's dog.... Was betrayed by all...except his servants ofcourse...who knew the fake ciel after the incident... I just hope when the Undertaker said that he doesn't want to lose any more phantomhives... He was not only talking about ciel but also the fake ciel.....

Of course this was going to be her reaction. Her entire life revolved around Ciel --- she felt betrayed.l to know the person she spent loving and clinging to wasn't the person she thought he was. But she also knows that she fell in love with his twin, the "imposter". Deep down she knows she was happier with oCiel because he treated her with respect, kindness and tolerance.

Oh my God now I feel even more sorry for her 😫 I didn't like Lizzy on the beginning but when I started to understand her behavior my point of view changed too. I noticed that she's someone more than cute facade. The worst thing is that she's right - people wouldn't be so happy if they knew that the one who came back wasn't real Ciel. I feel like our Ciel was in the shadow of his brother all the time. What was he supposed to do if he confessed the truth? Would his family allow him to become an earl? Everyone's talking about how they seem to have learned to love each other and I do agree that in book of the Atlantic it kinda seems like it, but am I the only one that feels like he's only protecting her because it's his duty as "his brother"? In the beginning of season two with the white stag, he only agreed to go look for it after there were people telling him, that it's not very noble of him to make his fiancé cry. Usually (at least to me) it seems like he hesitates to do what Lizzy wants to, but then remembers what his goal is and gives in to it.

Like it or not, I would rather say that Elizabeth "loves" real Ciel, and is more likely having a teenage crush on his little brother. Real Ciel is very very important to her as a friend and her responsibility (future husband and family), but our!Ciel being such a gentleman for always taking care of her and protecting her constantly for three years is not something to be ignored, and could easily cause romantic feelings to any teenage girl. Elizabeth is no exception. Rather, I think the reason she suffers like now isn't that she couldn't tell her rightful fiancé and hus twin apart, but she didn't want to- because she likes the "Ciel" in the back 3 years, and wanted him to stay the true one, her fiancé- rather than accepting the truth. She probably does develope romantic feelings for our Earl (let's be honest, if you got a guy swore to protect you with all he's got against a hord of zombies and actually fulfilled it without considering his own wellbeing, who wouldn't fell for him? ) , So she tried to ignore all the hints and evidence that might make him not "Ciel" even if she already suspected that, cause she likes this boy and wish he's her rightful fiancé, then her romance and responsibilities can both be achieved at one time. But as the truth bumped to her face that "Ciel" really wasn't the real one, she now feels guilty that she developed feelings for a guy who's not her rightful fiancé when he's under dire situation for three years, and while she still has to stand with real Ciel, her love for his little brother might all be in vain cause the other part was never sincere. Being deceived and mistook the twins for years isn't big deal, (Frances and Edward did the same, you just simply clearify and adjust it once you know the truth), it's that Elizabeth finds herself doesn't love real Ciel that much as she should (couldn't tell him and the twin apart), even betrayed him (sort of falling in love with his little brother, whom she shouldn't love that way) constantly (being suspicious about our Earl's identify but chose ignorance, because she actually prefer letting him stay her fiancé over knowing the truth), and the one who she could actually has feelings for doesn't really consider their relationship to be a serious one from the first place (it's like even you could be really in love with somebody, but if your opponent always treat it more like putting on a show for a character assigned to him then he couldn't be sincere but more like treating you like a child, just comforting you with candies, thus with an insincere man your love would never come true, but rather become a joke and made yourself a fool). Actually I think it's better for her to know the truth at this point, just 3 years of mistakes, way better than deceived all her life like a fool. Besides, I doubt our Protagonist ever really considered seriously about marrying Elizabeth, cause he himself doesn't look like anticipating any bright future beyond his revenge, and I'm sure he wasn't even sure whether he could live up to the age of marriage. Either way Elizabeth could easily be left alone, either by her "fiancé" or become a widow once our Earl's revenge is done, so better for her to know the truth before that I suppose. I guess our Earl never really wanted to give his heart nor promise Lizzie anything because he knows himself he has no future, and was simply cherishing her as someone close to her and as a gentleman. And I do think Elizabeth does love the real Ciel.....Maybe not in a romantic way, but she has strong familial and emotional ties with him, and he's also the person she shared her childhood and given her promise for a decade. That's love, if you ask me, not in a so fairytale way, but that's something you'll have to somebody very intimate and important to you and whom you've wanted share your life with.

Our Ciel took his brother's place for power and the Earldom. That being said, his first wish before that was for Ciel. That thing that the Undertaker is pretending is Ciel isn't Ciel. Sebastian informed Our Ciel that Ciels soul is gone too summon him it was sacrificed. But the complete abandonment of God is why he wants to give his power to Our Ciel. That's a reanimated corpse. I'm not sure what's in it, but it's not Ciel. Shame on Undertaker for desecration off what's left off Ciel and for putting Our Ciel through this. The worst part is that this all-powerful Undertaker didn't save them. Oh, he's tied to their family, so he knew where they were but abandoned them.
