Some days ago I've had the opportunity to play the amazing pipe organ at St. Peter and Paul's Church in Görlitz, also known as the Sonnenorgel. This fantastic instrument got some interesting additions lately which I'll feature in a separate video (Spanish Trumpets in 16/8/4' and the 64' Resultant!!). This organ is an absolute joy to play!
I hope you'll enjoy this recording of the "Fanfare for the Common Man" by Copland played by Paul Fey organist on the Sonnenorgel in Görlitz, using the new Spanish trumpets, 32' Bombardes and 64' resultant of the organ.

An incredible performance of the Copland Fanfare. The organ registration is absolutely amazing ! A wonderful rendition of this American classic for orchestra. It must be overwhelming to hear this live in the church with reverb. Thanks, Paul, for this organ experience. Excellent !

Beautiful and inspiring Paul. I don't play any instrument but have loved hearing the organ (electronic) in church since a young child. That instrument always fasinated me. Then I heard pipe organs as I got older. There is no comparison between the two. St. Peter and Paul's Church organ has an excellent sound. The wood carvings on the console are impressive and indicative of fine craftsmen of the builder's team. Those Spanish Trumpets are great. Thanks for sharing. An exellent spanish trunpet indeed! I played one spanish organ before and it is perfect for spanish organ music! In fact i know the perfect piece for this organ as well.
