This is true... Even though he is unlucky he still meet someone who understand him very well, willing to protect him. He met a person who truly values him in the last moment of his life. Lilinhua is really lucky 🥰

It’s tragic though that after being poisoned Li Xiangyi wondered alone and lonely for 9 out of the 10 remaining years. He finally let Fang Duobing into his life. It was fate that Fang Duobing stumbled across his idol who inspired him and allowed him to overcome his childhood illness. It’s no wonder he is so devoted to Li Lianhua/ Li Xiangyi. It’s a balm for the soul to see Li Lianhua loved and taken care of by so many at the end (Fang Duobing, Di Feisheng, Miss Su, etc.)

Love this video and the relationship between Fang Duobing and Li Lianhua. Li XiangYi was Fang Duobing's greatest hope, hero and 'first love' growing up, 10 years later, Li Lianhua is his soulmate and eternal love. Fang Duobing was just Li XiangYi's shixiong's 'nephew', but 10 years later, he became Li Lianhua's soulmate and hope for life again. I love the parallels in their relationship. Thank you for making this!

Heartwarming to see the love, concern and devotion that Fang Duobing has for Li Lianhua. Notice FDB refused to recognize LLH as his “shifu” (master) even after he found out Li Lianhua is Li Xiangyi but instead said LLH was his confidante and soulmate. FDB was always so protective of LLH and desperate to save his life. FDB also understood LLH’s dreams and goals when he was Li Xiangyi. That scene where FDB finds out for sure that LLH is Li Xiangyi and breaks the jade flute. You see how devastated LLH was; he picked up the broken jade flute (which I think he may have gifted FDB).

Fate is funny. A compassionate Li Xiangyi once gave a sickly, crippled child hope by giving him a wooden sword and telling him he would be his shifu if he could wield that wooden sword (whereas the true father gave his child a huge adult sword and abandoned him right away when his child could not hold it). 10 years later, a grown Fang Duobing stumbles across his beloved, idolized shifu unknowingly and protects, cherishes and loves him in return. It’s karma - kindness is repaid back.

Fan Duobing has a deep devotion and admiration for Li Lianhua. Li Lianhua sees him as family, as he was his "brother's" son, so much so that he couldn't throw the broken flute away. And he handed over the flower that could save his life to the Emperor in exchange for protecting Fan Duobing and his family. There is no love interest in their relationship.

"Mysterious Lotus Casebook" makes the sexual orientation of the characters very explicit. Fan Duobing is heterosexual, Li Lianhua is bisexual, and Di Feisheng is gay. So much so that in China the "DiHua" couple is one of the favorite couples of the year. They made it very clear who the CP of the show is.

There's not a couple in this drama the story is not focused on romance so the audience can ship anyone they want together this is the fun 😂fanghua would make a great couple they're the ones who understands each other the best they're the best soulmates ever

No hay ninguna pareja en el drama ni en la novela. Solo shipps, pero si es que hubieran querido hacer una pareja esa sería el FangHua. No me mal entiendan, también me gusta el DiHua y el Difanghua, pero venir y comentar esto en un video que no es de tu shipp es una estupidez. Bonus: el shipp más popular de este drama fue el Fanghua.
