Floyd wanting to sing Shakur has little to do with Tank. If anyone followed Shakur’s journey, you’d recall that Floyd has made an early attempt to sign the young phenom right after his olympic bout but was unsuccessful due to Shakur choosing to go with J-Prince. So now that Shakur has reopened himself back to the marketplace, It’s timely that Floyd make a second attempt to solidify a partnership with Shakur Stevenson and J-Prince.

It may be wise for Shakur to wait for the Tank and Loma fight to be official and sign back with Top rank for the path to Undisputed, he gets the winner of Tank and Loma, but Shakur gets the opportunity to fight for a unification for the other belt at top rank, at the end of 2024, in order to go for Undisputed in the beginning of 2025.....
