I miss the 90s. I really miss the mid to late - 80s. That was one concerts and festivals were great, but like everything else that goes on today, it's all garbage compared to the older days. Me too, friend. My last time was at the Jacksonville Landing during the FL vs GA game. The crowd was shoulder to shoulder & so thick that you'd have to wait your turn to be able to move around & through the crowd. Some guy passing by me felt me up against my will there was nothing i could do but try to get away. Never again

What? I used to have epilepsy when I was a kid (last seizure when I was still a toddler, stopped taking medicine when I was 12, but still have to avoid strobes). My going to concerts all the time days are behind me, but I know in the late 90s through around like 2012 or so, I went to a ton of metal concerts and there was never any warning about strobe lights or pyros or anything. It just usually said the name of the headliner (sometimes it would list 2 or 3 bands) and then the price, date, venue, start time, and then GA (General Admission) or your seat (I rarely went to concerts that had any seats though).

But it's not bright enough to do damage to your eyes, and it lasts for less than a second. And the music is arguably WAY louder than the bang was. If people can't handle bright lights or loud sounds, concerts probably aren't the place for you to be.

Im 100% sure he had no clue how intense and aggressive the flash would actually be. Additionally, stopping his show immediately after this would have been detrimental to the vibe... it was a minor thing for a minuscule amount of time for someone known substantially for his "out-of-another-world" experiences of concerts.

I really wouldn't even call them artist anymore TBH. They use microphones that's makes them sounds like a great singer and a lot of them just screaming into the microphone and no singing and a lot of them will talk sing and that's not singing that's just talking so I wouldn't call them artist as we would have called them back in the 40s 50s 60s 70s 80s 90s and even maybe the early 2000s. Everyone remembers how ppl died at his concert few years ago, but nobody is aware of him donating millions (8 numbers) of dollars towards charities and schools after that happened and he started organisations and charities as well to support safety at public events and much more. He is just an artist too, there is hundreds of people working together when organising big events, there’s enough space for everyone to make a mistake

Travis is a performer, not a coordinator of how to fit thousands of ppl together safely. Part of live performance is the sense of danger… it’s the venues job to maintain that edge while keeping ppl safe.
