So? Most of us just call it The Garden, or Boston Garden anyway. Also, it was US subsidiary TD Bank N.A that acquired the naming rights to the arena in 2005, and they were founded in Maine and it's HQ is in NJ. At the time, they were TD Banknorth. Then when they had a merger with Toronto Dominion in 2009, all it did was drop Banknorth from the name, and it was simply TD Garden. So technically, TD Bank N.A. is a New England Bank, and what TD stands for is never really brought up.
