At 12:19 p.m. Tuesday, an SUV containing the body of Loretta Lynn quietly exited her beloved ranch.

This one hurts; a beloved and amazing person. I remember listening to Loretta as a young child on the little transistor radio before running off to catch the school bus. I enjoy her music even today. What a day in Heaven it must be with Loretta joining the choir along with Patsy and Conway, and all the others we have lost over the years.

Grew up with her, she was an amazing woman. We just lost our second Queen of Country Music. She's up there with all the greatest of Country music. Kitty Wells, Patsy Cline, Conway Twitty and so many more. Lots of love , laughter and Great songs up there now.

I was thinking this exact thing about these 2 passing so close together. They both knew The Lord, as some describe it, not all I realize. However, I have comfort knowing they both are in the best place ❤

I never got the opportunity to meet this sweet sweet awesome lady but my heart goes out to the family. I listened to her music when I was young and loved it so much. She sung from the heart. She will be missed so bad. I will be praying for the family. RIP Loretta! You will never be forgotten.

I grew up listening to Loretta . And I remember the first movie was coal miner's daughter . Seen her in concert and seen her ranch . I've always loved her music . Rest in peace 🕊️ .

As sad as I am I had to smile because my first thought was that Mooney came to get her and take her to her Welcome Home Party.. can you just imagine the joy for Loretta to reunite with everyone she's lost over the years? Her family, especially her Dad, Conway, Patsy, etc.. The world will miss her but she deserves every bit of the joy & happiness she is surely feeling right now at Home. I mourn her but I am also so happy for her to be with everyone again.

I used to eat at Loretta Lynn's Kitchen at that same exit. Man she always had some good country food there. She had one in Ky for a while as well but shut it down several years ago. R.I.P. Loretta

A true lady has left us, and the world is a little less bright for losing her light. I remember visiting her Hurricane Mills ranch when I was a teenager. Mooney drove past us in his jeep, honked and waved, a huge grin lighting his face. They were just real people, living an ordinary extraordinary life. It's a lovely spot. I've got a photo of me and my brother standing on those steps. Rest in peace, darlin. Sing your song for your daddy.

I teared up when I read the news about her passing. We lost someone magical and brilliant this year. I was lucky enough to see her perform at the Opry a few years back and I'll treasure that memory always. RIP Ms. Loretta Lynn. You will be sorely, dearly missed but thank you for all the wonderful songs and music throughout the years. They got me through some very tricky times in my life. Condolences to her family too.

Loretta, you were an icon. I grew up loving your music. It was one of a kind.! There’s no one left in Country music except for Dolly. They just don’t have anyone like her anymore. Love and prayers to you and your family. We are going to miss you. I’m so sad, but you’re up in Heaven now, singing for your Daddy and your other fans that loved you.

Yes that's what heaven is! Seeing those you love! I loved her and so did my family. She will open up the heavens with her voice and see those she loved here and those who have passed and meet others along the way. Thank you Loretta for such and amazing talent! she lived a long live and changed country music , dont be sad , celebrate her life . People pass away every day , children , teenagers , adults , it's hard when there young because they never got the chance to live but when there here for 90 years that's a chance to live . So celebrate.

I would just like to say something here to everyone my heart and prayers go out to Dolan family her son her three daughters all the staff that worked on her ranch I just want to say that you are dearly loved Loretta Lynn will never ever be forgotten in my heart I'm glad that people will take respect to you and let you all have your privacy if I was there I wouldn't go near the ranch until your privacy with Matt I feel that that would've been the right thing to do it was nice of people did visit but I hope that they did not undo your wishes to be left alone is every car went by tears filled my eyes As I know that that was Loretta's home replace she loved the most her we love you Loretta Lynn may you rest in peace and God loving arms and the price that you call home and not Tavern we love you Lynn family know that I will highly respect you as long as we are still on this earth good night

She was truly amazing. True Christian lady. I know that her and patsy are singing for Jesus now.mooney and all the great that went before her are all front seat row for her and patsy together again with good ole Conway and George Jones. I'm a 62 year old black woman I grew up listening to this woman that I like to call a sister she was one of the first women to speak on cheating the pill 😆🤣😂she caused a ruckus 😆her pasty cline Aretha and dolly queen Latifah and all women who speak up stand up we wish you a safe journey back to your mommy and daddy and all your ancestors you are loved be well Loretta Lynn.

My brother in law did mail for her and she stop and ask my brother-in-law if he needs a lift he said no thank you the towing company he needed a new tire his tire was flat nail went in a couple times she would wave her if she saw him on the road hi to him

I was a civil war reenactor for many years and I will never forget when my family did a event there on her ranch. the unit I was with was setting up a cross fire trap for the confederates who was trying to flank us . when we found Mrs Lynn hiding in some brush we were setting up in . she said she wanted to watch the battle with out causing any up set with the crowd there with her presence being known . so we set her up with the best view while keeping her presence not being know . latter that night she came to a ball for the reactors and shook hands with all who wanted to meet her . she was so gracious . I stood in line to formally meet her and she remembered meeting me in the brush and she said that we had picked her the prefect place for her to not only see what we were setting up but for the rest of the battle . She made my day . I will never forget how tiny she was and soft spoken she was . She was truly a lady. Meeting her in the field and having time to speak with her latter. Is something I will never forget . It's one of many things I will never forget about my years of reenacting . Rest well Mrs Lynn and I hope to see you at the fiddlers Green when my time is thew. Hooah!!!
