Well enough for the fact that people everywhere cannot tell the difference between a song and a music track any longer (the former has lyrics and the latter does not) but I honestly don't think I've ever seen someone anywhere imply that music is the same thing as lyrics... I'll correct your comment for you: I honestly think the song that plays during Sephiroth's final boss fight is the reason behind the "you know you’re absolutely screwed when the boss fight music's lyrics are in Latin" trope lol

People saying they don't know who Sephiroth is, I have a message. I may sound like a dick, but it's funny how you guys know Cloud in from Final Fantasy 7 that got into Smash Bros, but you've never seen his MAIN ENEMY. It's like not knowing Bowser but you know Mario, or you don't know Eggman but you know Sonic. Normally, if you've seen the hero of a game/franchise/movie, you must have seen their enemy/rival. And to all those who said "Ugh an anime sword fighter": One) He's not from an anime. And two) It's not using a sword that's bad, it's the user, don't blame it on the weapon.

Well final fantasy characters do look like anime in a way and two, people don’t like sword characters for other reasons like how they have a lot of range and that there are way too many in smash.

There REALLY are not way too many sword characters in Smash. Most sword characters don’t use the fullest extent of their range as their most common approach, so it’s really not a huge deal that swords have good range

I really never played any Final Fantasy Game and i didnt know who that Sephiroth boy was, but i did know who Cloud was, i guess its kinda common for people who are not introduced to the franchise

@@minih5027 That's understandable. The only ones I played were Ff13, 13-2, 15 and Dissidia NT (Which allowed me to know a lot of characters from all FF games). I knew Sephiroth from seeing Cloud in general, which was about 6/8 years ago (Round about when I was 12/10 years old)

I'm sorry. I have never played or had a real interaction with FF7 (the original) until last year and I just beat the game this year. Even I could've recognized Sephiroth's theme over a decade ago. Its surreal knowing there's people who don't recognize it on queue. Especially when the remake just came out this year.
