Springboks fans were made to stress this past weekend after the Springboks beat England by one point in a very tight semi final match at the Rugby World Cup in France.

Springboks wanted us to jump and go CRAZY everytime they won with one point the match with France was intense but the win was so very satisfying. The win over England was so incredible, they call it the "Great Escape" as they were behind England the entire match until finally getting the lead in the last eight minutes and holding on, it was such an intense ending and shocking outcome judging by how most of the match played out, that time they surprised even me. The final against Springboks, they had me on my feet and stressing through the last ten minutes. You're not kidding about them giving us cardiac arrest I felt like I was getting old watching those matches, I felt like I was losing years and years of my life watching those match, and I'm only 16. I was tense since the pool stage, but nonetheless, through all the adversity and challenges, those boys pulled it off and won. There is no team in South Africa that makes us proud like that team. Best team of any sport in South Africa, no one is arguing with me.

At the final whistle of the AB Ireland match, as an Irish man I became an AB supporter wanting them to go on and win. Since then, the smugness of the NZ team / management, after their win, and jibing a team that’s lost (big difference between jibes & banter during a game than after a game!) .. contrasting this with how the Boks magnanimously accepted their defeat to Ire given how much winning means to them & the way .. I am now a BOKS fan .. I think every country in the world (bar NZ) will be behind ye !!!
