Agree with all of this. I do wish Bobby was upfront with her though. My guess is that he did not want a confrontation, so he kept this from her so she could experience what it was like to be left out. But then it backfired and ended up bringing confrontational, anyway. But it was a good thing that it did because it brought everything out in the open.

But there has to be a conversation aka communication is key

@@MsQuartermaine Bobby tried to be upfront with her each time & each time she was dismissive of his feelings. I feel like he didn't have a choice but to give her a taste of her own medicine.

I love them & they're so cute and strong together but we need two for one fight. I knew you or nobody understanded why she doesn't tell every decision she makes. I tell It simple. She doesn't wan't to weight anyone with her issues or fights. I'm feeling so bad for her. Shes so amazing but everyone just blame her. I knew at the beginning of the season that she wasn't ok when she said in ep 1 to Bobby that she doens't wan't anyone worrying about her bcs she's ok. I knew😢😦😣 Nobody never ever understands. right! she’s my girl and i love her, but the way she tried to back it up saying she is “independent.” a relationship doesn’t work like that athena.

@@heavenlee6866 yup I was talking to my married friends and once they got married they would always call their husband when they stayed out late, not really to ask permission but just out of respect.. kinda to say “hey do you think I should” which annoyed me but didn’t really surprise me as it’s a very conservative group of people but the more I thought about it the more it made sense. It’s like when you’re living with someone, sharing a life together you run NEARLY everything by them, it’s not just you, you have to think about. Maybe Bobby sees something Athena doesn’t- sometimes we aren’t the best judge of whether we are actually okay. We will push ourselves to work to the bone when really what’s best for us is to take a break. Maybe Bobby doesn’t want to worry about his wife out in the field for the rest of their lives. It’s just about mutual respect.

@@mcnoneya Yes I 100% agree with you! And even if she is scared to share everything with him, at least that should be run by him! She leaves him in the dark, while he is open to her. Also, when he does open to her she will just focus on her own problems. Like his feelings don’t exist. I mean I can definitely see how independent she is but she needs to loosen up a lot you know?

@@heavenlee6866 maybe snd I’m just playing devils advocate here, but maybe she’s focusing on her own problems when he opens up because that’s exactly what she would do. As in she’s independent so even when she does open up say to a therapist she still tries to focus on fixing things herself so maybe she thinks Bobby’s opening up but that’s all he wants, is to share and not have her help him. 🤷🏻‍♀️ idk does that make sense? But now that we are on the topic, I feel like they threw the mom and dad of the group together even though they hadn’t really built any chemistry. I detect NO romantic chemistry between these 2, a partnership yes, that they for the most part when it counts on the job they are there for each other, except for the obvious issues showcased here. Am I crazy?

@@mcnoneya YOU ARE EXACTLY RIGHT!! I completely understand what you are saying! I thought I was the only one who thought there was no romantic spark between them! They are amazing PARTNERS but not ROMANTIC PARTNERS! And I completely agree with your therapist & bobby thing too. Maybe her independence could have came from being scared of another marriage failure? So she wanted to do things on her own? Bobby and Athena literally communicate like they are work partners, not living in the same household and married. They (specifically athena) keep things from eachother! In a marriage you are supposed to be 1 and they are literally 2. Literally feels like there is a wall between them. But girl what did you think of the season finale?!!😯

i think they do that in promos to make the promos more interesting and people more hyped for the next episode.

Heaven Lee I could see that being the reason to include an exciting scene in the promo and then cutting it. But this was a different version of the same scene. I think it's because they do a lot of takes and then splice the best (or what they think is best) ones together.

yeah i see it. but athena is the one who rly needs it. bobby is open and she just needs to open up. this is an easy fix and it’s lowkey athena’s fault. hate to say it bc i love her but it is what it is.
