Iheanacho play the area he was not that comfortable with. Onachu is not supposed to play in that match, falling like chaff. The Goalkeeper tried. Chukweze did tried when he came in. You guys are talking rubbish. Alex Iwobi was our best player and man of the match. The chances he missed were created by himself. He hustled, won fifty-fifty balls, and, after much running, failed to convert. He almost had a 100 percent completion rate of passes. He provided the assist for the equalizer. He didn't score, but he didn't have open chances. The person hailing Murphy must have ignored the fact that he received a near-perfect pass and failed to convert. He failed to convert a similar one-on-one with a keeper in AFCON. Bright Osayi Samuel had a great opportunity and made a lame attempt. He was poor defensively. He goes on the attack, and, rather than return, he stays deep in the opponents half. As soon as SA got possession then he starts trying to get back into position, and it's too late. If we don't fix that, we will lose to Benin on counterattacks. Ademola Lookman was fantastic. He shouldn't be blamed for not scoring. His teammates need to get into positions to receive the ball whenever he gets the ball. SA was defending him with a minimum of 3 players. They usually had 2 in front and 1 or 2 more covering. Bright Osayi Samuel was either making predictable runs to the flanks or standing around watching. If Onyedika was in the game earlier, we would have scored another goal. I truly didn't see what Yusuf brought to the game. He didn't do anything wrong but he doesn't seem confident and decisive enough. The only advice I have for Finidi is to make his substitutions at least 10 minutes earlier. Iheanacho was not hustling enough. If a striker doesn't have things going well, the least he can do is hustle for the ball, especially when playing on the flanks. Lookman always pressures for the ball. Even Chukwueze has the same problem. Onuachu is a good player but we didn't build up play well initially. He is not fast so it didn't make sense to lob balls to him to chase. We need to get him balls in the box when he gets in position. This is what I expected Kelechi to do.
