Fantano doesn't deserve such an awful fanbase. It's the weird result of somehow becoming way more famous than your niche subject matter calls for. A lot of them are here for Fantano but don't have the same understanding of music required to actually break down and understand it

@@cockidk I don't think the song would work without the soundbite, it's the centerpiece of the whole thing and I don't think it sounds shoved in at all. The soundbyte is what she's saying "dang" to, as if she or the character she's playing is talking to someone who's complaining on the phone but not really listening, so just saying "dang" to everything, like an empty "that sucks"

Caroline and SOPHIE were friends who actually worked on a couple of tracks together back in 2019, though those are unreleased. SOPHIE's collaborator/vocalist Cecile Believe co-produced this track (Dang), and Caroline has another song on this album dedicated to SOPHIE (I Believe).
