Casual fans tend to love him when he agrees with their view, hate him when he doesn’t. He’s pretty consistent (for the most part) with the way that he approaches music from a critical standpoint.

I think you’re smoking something with ur acid rap take. But the reason why he put IYRTITL over take care and nothing was the same is because they aren’t very consistent. You have to remember that an album isn’t just a collection of songs, it’s a homogenous product that should be judged as a whole, not as the sum of its parts.

I genuinely don’t understand what people see in that album. He literally cannot sing. It is literally impossible for me to finish that album. I have never managed to finish the whole thing it’s just so fucking annoying. I persevere until solo because that track is alright, or at least the beat is really awesome, but the whole album? His monotone flow whining over and over and over again, just in the same tone, the same autotune flow, like he’s falling asleep while whining over and over again

Agree and disagree on a lot of these Drake - he got that worst one perfectly but his best one definitely for me is take care which i feel like has a better tracklist and more influential J Cole - literally disagree so hard on MDL, it aint even that bad and has got some of his hardest songs. Disagree on the best one too since i feel like 4 your eyez only has got some of the best rap songs in general. People underrate this album a LOT. Tyler the Creator - Bastard is definitely worse than Cherry Bomb, this album is way too overhated. Igor is definitely his best but i prefer CMIYGL when it comes to overall rapping performance. Future - bruh aint no way he gave Hndrxx a fucking NOT GOOD. wlrd on drugs was absolute shit and easily future's worst. And how the fuck is WDTY above DS2 bruhhhh. Playboi Carti - Agreed with both the takes on this one. Uzi Vert - Definitely agree on the worst one but uzi's best has gotta be Luv is rage 2. Kanye West - As immature as he acted during the whole Vultures thing, that album is shit and his worst project yet. Best is MBDTF no doubt and one of his worst takes was giving that a 6. Travis - nigga how is Birds a 3 and the worst one when that collab with Quavo exists? Agreed with the best one tho, Rodeo is a goated project. Kendrick Lamar - Got nothing to say he got that perfectly. Asap Rocky - Testing is his worst yea but disagree with that 4 heavily. And i feel like ALLA is on the same level as LLA. Chance the Rapper - Nothing to say for The Big Day, everyone knows how bad that is, although feel like Acid Rap is definitely Chance's best rapping and writing wise. Denzel Curry - Agreed on the worst one, but MMESYF >> TA13OO Gunna - 😴😴😴😴😴😴😴😴 Eminem - Revival is absolute shit so agreed, and i think he hasnt reviewed Em's past projects so for current times, MMLP 2 is his best project since like TES. Joey Bada$$ - Literally one of my favourite rappers of this gen and it shows when his "worst one" got a 7 🙏🏻. Although the best is definitely 1999 for me. Lil Wayne - WTF CARTER 4 WORST?!?????????? FUCKING REBIRTH?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! And for his best one, same case as Em, hasnt reviewed previous projects. Carter 5 is definitely a 7 tho. TLDR: your takes are funny in their consistency and presumed bad reasoning. You lack some nuance, he lacks less nuance, only because he is an older guy with a lot of wisdom and healthy biases from many different cool people he connects with, both of you end up annoying sometimes, but we're just human. I agree with you sometimes and him sometimes though. He is a cool and interesting guy despite his takes and that is my favorite part of his reviews, so don't ride the wave of people overreacting to him being personal and biased like y'all seem to want him to be... Anyway here's what I actually said: I like how all the positive ones are deemed good. I honestly like his negative reviews mostly, its honestly never feels bad other than things that give the vibe that he is not keeping track of his ratings compared to eachother or at least not thinking about the albums replayability. You seem to hate on the negative reviews because you might not consider how often he is consistent with these negative reviews, if it ain't broke don't fix it, cuz we can always get the right idea when the perspective is consistently biased. Just adjust the score by a few points every time it happens like that and you're good. But again with "replayability," for example Cherry Bomb REALLY grows on you for the most part of your listens of it, and IGOR seems so good at first that you hear everything you need to hear. His limited time and relistenings are mostly why his reviews on those are off. I dislike his positive reviews of trending albums when they glorify the albums fulfillment of arbitrary, critic-pleaser checkboxes... He should just add some more personal reasoning, and not just personal reasoning that others have said, but fun and new personal reason that you would rap about to get a good score. I think you might be a little optimistic and hyped about some of these mainstream but bland artists, they deserve to be criticized before they are idealized as far as defining their rating of quality, but sometimes he does have a way of just not really considering the whole art and he has a way of just not focusing on IT when compared to the giant load of art he sees. Sometimes the art just shouldn't be graded on how special (therefore how creative and valuable) it is when you've seen everything its copying, because most people haven't seen that, but I simpathize with how he cannot be positive after fully realizing how not unique and trash by comparison it is, it's just so hard to not have a 'just listen to the better one' mentality, and then also hard to not keep it to yourself for respectability, leaving people confused about his reasoning. Also I support his attitude about vultures despite my take that suggesting others to dislike ye not just to avoid him is silly. But (this is not contradictory I just felt like saying "But") [God send me to below the earth's mantle] if I had to review a [national socialist] when he's talking [national socialist] [male-cow waste] and saying stuff about [fun activities that are not safe for discussing at work] like hes a [not experienced] 12-year-old **rap edition**... If I were a critic I would also also avoid praising him, [to frack down below the earth with] that [bundle of sticks].
