Fantasia was a unique once-in-a-lifetime experience on this show. To this day I still remember and play all of her performances because there's been no one like her on the show since.

@sboudreaux27 Facts! Season 3 was hands down the best season of American Idol! The 3 divas Fantasia,Latoya and Jennifer were amazing! Hell even Diana Degurmo (if I'm spelling it right),Jasmine Trias and George Huff were great singers too!

Simon wasn’t taking a dig at her. He was actually right. She was age 19 at the time looking like a 40 year old lounge singer...it wasn’t a jab at her voice which he still complimented. He just like the YOUNG vibrant Fantasia that they had grown accustomed to.
