Rebuilding the program a lot of age outs too plus new staff and the class got tougher

fantasia's downfall began in 2015. i witnessed diamante beating them for the first time. The sport has gotten significantly more difficult and fantasia has unfortunately not kept up enough to make those impossibly high scores anymore. They also moved winterguard circuits from Winterguard Association of Southern California (WGASC) to West Coast Winterguard (WCWG). They're still a good team but i wish they had stayed in WGASC instead of moving to WCWG. i think several teams made the mistake of moving to WCWG because none of the WCWG circuit teams that went to dayton made it past semi finals. The circuit doesnt have the same rigor as WGASC and the two teams that did end up in dayton competed alone in their respective divisions (IW and IA) in said circuit. If they had stayed in WGASC, they would have had a lot more competitors!

@@williamvirden4463 i think this. just like dance teams that go through a lot of seniors @ once & have to build again which takes years to get back to where they once were. fantasia will bounce back.
