Easy Jewelry Tutorial : Double Hoop Swirl with Pearl Dangle Earrings

Learn how to create a simply elegant pair of earrings in this beginner-friendly wire wrapping tutorial.

Supplies:
WIRE: 18 gauge dead soft round (I used sterling silver wire from RioGrande.com)
HEADPINS: 1 inch, 24 gauge
BEADS: 6mm round, drilled (I used Swarovski pearls: amzn.to/2ROGHsY )
EARWIRES: of your choice
Tools:
Chain Nose Pliers (Click here for the ones I used): amzn.to/2z1nxcj
Round Nose Pliers, (Click here for the ones I used): amzn.to/2FlJpVj
Flush Cutters, (Click here for the ones I used): amzn.to/2DAo8Wd
Wire: 20 gauge, round dead soft - I used copper wire from RioGrande.com
Steel bench block: amzn.to/2PQohL3
Jeweler’s hammer: amzn.to/2Dh7vxQ

For anyone in Australia, I worked out that a Penny is the size of a 5 cent piece. Jocelyn, I have had a look in your Etsy store, and I am exhaused just looking at all the things you have made. I am trying not to be too hard on myself for taking 2 hours to do your 5 petal flower last night, and having it end up mangey. You clearly have put a lot of work into refining your skills. I am excited to try the Double Hoop Swirl. Thank you for your clear and up close tutorials.

I love the hoop and swirl design. I am going to make this earring include a pair of latte earrings my neighbor bought me for Christmas. I love hoops and I love those coffee earrings, but I would love them more as a hoop! Thanks for your creativity and video for us all to learn from!

I’m glad I watched this a second time. I had missed two important things the first time. One is using the hammer on the flat and then the round. I have always struggled to get a decent texture on my wire. Thanks so much for your beautifully designed tutorial.
