Teachers cover other teachers all the time. I've had my English teachers cover economics, maths cover physics, heck a cooking teacher once covered religious studies. It's perfectly reasonable that Dumbledoor covered the DADA lesson.

You totally missed his point.. he meant that it was some kind of magic, at that point not very known by the world, but for a few to read.. it started so small, simple 90's magic, and now being all transformed into something more... so it fits a bigger audience. Something beyond the unique hocus pocus vibe that surrounded the first book. Twas just that it had some magical childhood thing over it. It had warm sentiment. Alas, that will not be the same. But still, the magic goes on from generation to generation. Harry Potter, the boy who lived. Always.
