About Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore:

Professor Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) knows the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen) is moving to seize control of the wizarding world. went to see the movie with my boyfriend and stayed till the end of credits to pack our things,happened to hug him as the song started and we danced until it ended in the dark movie theater alone. If I marry this man one day,no doubts this will be my wedding song.

spoiler alert! just watching secret of dumbledore, and the song was played at the end of the movie when dumbledore watching happiness at kowalski bakery, and he just left and walking away inthe middle of snowy street. that so heartbreaking, can feels how lonely he is.

Just got out of seeing “Secrets of Dumbledore” and was so glad I stuck through the end credits to hear this beautiful love ballad. Reminds me of the time when blockbuster films had empowering love songs play over the end credits to symbolize the overall theme of the movie. Fantastic song and hope it’s remembered come Oscars next year as I believe it would be a great choice for “Best Song”. Already ordered the soundtrack and plan to listen again and again.

The amount of time i have heard this song is immeasurable. This song has shattered my heart and I cannot recover from that. IT just hits different in the theater. Jude Law is a phenomenal actor. The look on dumbledore's face while this song was being played conveyed the pain/love so effortlessly. The relationship between Grindelwald and Dumbledore was one of the most intriguing part in Deathly Hallows according to me and seeing more backstory just filled me with emotions and just reminds me of this line : "After all this time" "Always"

It’s not “you pray that you’ll be hurting him”. It’s “You pray that you’ll be her and him” meaning he prays they’ll be like Jacob and Queenie who had a happy ending

IMO this song is the best thing about "The Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore". It has this classic Nat King Cole-esque romantic feeling. It's hauntingly beautiful and heartbreaking. It deserves a much better film to accompany.

I was the only one watching the movie at 2 pm on theater. As I was going to the exit door I hear this magical song and I keep myself till the end of credits to see who was the singer. It really touched me. The lyrics are just what I think of that recognition of someone who is part of you forever... 💖 It is kind of Frank Sinatra style and I love it, I feel the words go into my soul...

Yes, except for in- movie songs like Do a Hippogriff in Goblet of Fire. But first HP movie should originaly including Bruce Springsteen song- "I´ll stand by you", but it never made it to the final version.

Not really. There's already "Do the Hippogriff" and "Magic Works" in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, performed by the fictional band The Weird Sisters. The first one is performed in the film (there's even an extended version in the DVD) and the latter plays in the final credits. Then there's "Blind Pig" from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

説明不足と感じる部分がなかったとは言えないが、ジェイコブとクイニーが結ばれたのは本当によかった… 冒頭のゴーストタウン化したパン屋でもちょっと流れてましたが、エンディングですっかり綺麗に蘇ったパン屋と幸せに満ちた主人公チームによかったね〜ってずっと泣いてた。エンドロールで歌詞付きでこの曲が流れてジェイコブから天使クイニーへのラブソングじゃん〜ってなって滝涙😭 対して一人で生きていくことを決意したようなダンブルドア。FB3を経ての「愛じゃよ」があると思うとまた泣けてくる…。 FB4はゴドリックの谷のエピソードを映像化してほしいなあ

I‘ve been frantically searching for this song ever since I heard it last week. When the tracklist came out I thought it had to be “Heaven“ but I always ended up with Gregory Porter‘s “In Heaven“ so I kept searching and searching not realising they were two different songs 😅 So touching and it fits the Dumbledore Grindelwald relationship beautifully.

We watched this with our autistic toddler, he was twisty throughout the film but during the end credits he sat staring at the TV mesmerised by this song. Now we play it to him when he's having a bad day and it calms him right down.

It's 7 months since that day. It aches my hearts so much everytime I hear this song. It should bring me happiness and the warmth of christmas, but instead it tortures me so hard when I think about the moment the song was sang in the theatre at the end of the movie. My professor won't never have a sweet life as he wishes. Beautiful and painful at the same time.

He couldn't understand why Gellert had chose to be apart of him, when he tried to make amends and be together in a different path, he rejected each time; so he let go as a part of him still loves him, always. Dumbledore and Grindelwald were like miracles for eachother. They were both brilliant, and though Albus had family he loved, they never understood eachother. Then he met Grindelwald, who had just been expelled from school for what he saw as his own ambition. Then they both finally meet someone who 'gets' then. But it went all wrong.

Está canción me hizo sentir mal por Dumbledore 🥺 el enamorarse perdidamente de alguien que solo sintió algo efímero por ti😔que solo te usó 😔 que nunca sintió lo mismo por tí 😔😔😔 ver cómo todos son felices pero uno se tiene q tragar su dolor y ese dolor en el alma inexplicable,un vacío en el pecho indescriptible.....
