This campsite is perfect for those who love boondocking, as it is located beneath the Sawtooth Mountains.If you're looking for a place to escape the crowds and catch some peace and quiet, this is the campsite for you! Enjoy the sounds of the river while you camp beneath the towering mountain ranges. With so much to see and do in the area, this is a campsite you won't want to miss!Hike, Bike, Raft, Fish, Camp, and soak in amazing dog-friendly hot springs. Stanley, Idaho is in about the middle of this odd shaped state and it is an outdoor enthusiast mecca. From many hot springs to cool rivers, hike , bike, kayak, and explore the spectacular Sawtooth Mountains and the valley below. Many campgrounds are here for you but since we have an off-grid, self-built campervan, we choose to boondock (camp free) whenever we can. On this trip, we will share with you our favorite free campsite and what made it so special.
