Absolutely mesmerizing! Watching those RC excavators and dump trucks in action at the Friedrichshafen Modellbau event was like witnessing a miniature construction site come to life. The level of detail and precision in their movements is simply astounding.

Some are working on different projects, prepared by leadership of the site, making some road, moving soil from one place to another. Others just choose to drive freely around. It's a quite relaxed atmosphere

My absolute favorite thing is how the rc vehicles and all the small stuff is so choppy 😂. No air ride suspension, full throttle from stop😂😂 EPIC

hello! very good video! you do great camera work i think! but i need you to fix the audio for your future videos please. you have these very loud high pitch frequency sounds happening, they're very loud and schreech in my ears - maybe it comes from the machines, or from radio controllers when you're near them? i dont know, but they get amplified by the Internal "smart" vocal/sound recognition in your camera. Do me a favor for future videos, download some free .VST audio plugins to manipulate the sound, you might be able to add them to your video making software - there is tons of free .VST2 files everywhere online. (its the industry standard) Find a Band EQ that can turn down the high frequencies, you dont need any sounds above the 16.000hz mark or below 25hz. a bass'y voice is around 150-200kz and a guitar is around 4.000-6.000hz. Find also a compressor to even out the sound a bit, it smoothes out volume differences and can add thats stereo loudness feeling to your sound mix. If you have something too loud or too low sounding it can help even it out, for greater viewing pleasure. It is not terribly difficult to mess around with. Good luck and thank you for the videos again. - if you cannot apply sound plugins to your video software, then maybe consider a DAW, digital audio workstation. Some are free or very low cost - BUT thats a whole big subject to undertake and understand how to those DAW programs. They can often play video inside too, while you see the audio timeline underneath. Good luck!

how long does it take to make this? it looks like there is concrete almost poured in some spots, "grass" is growing out of dirt. that takes time? also do people in europe own property and warehouses specifically for this? It would be a huge effort and alot of people to own a place just for this type of thing only? Maybe this is just an event so its rented for a show, but some videos in europe it looks like people actually own a building just to play rc inside? if so that is crazy and so awesome.

They use a 'small week' to set it up, 4-5 days, and about 2 days to remove it after the show that happens in a weekend, Friday-Sunday. These people are good at this, well organized and got much experience putting up these sites every year. The 'grass' is a kind of herb, maybe 'watercress', that grows very fast when watered, just 1-2 days. This Rc truck site is a part of a big show that happens every year where all kinds of hobbies are represented, many sellers, trains, RC airplane, boats, cars, Lego. It happens in a large building that is made for having shows about 2 weekends every month, presenting different themes too visiters like tourism, cars, boats, houses, motorbikes, dogs and cats, and so on. When people who have RC trucks as hobby do not attend shows like this, they often gather in their buildings in the town they live, where they have permanent roads for their models. They are member of local 'RC truck clubs' It's many such clubs around Germany and several other countries in Europe, and other parts of the world

It’s not as popular on Vancouver island where I live, but there are a few people that do it, like tracks and treads Lou, rcp57, and then a few other guys like myself who are starting to do it more often. But not quite like this. And certainly not as many. Very cool though. Thank you for the explanation. I love the hobby so it’s cool to hear about it. Thank you

First weekend of November every year, as one will see in the link to this show. There are many vistors out of town to the show, the lower cost hotels and B&B rooms in the area get many bookings up ahead. It's fine to book a couple of months ahead for a reasonable priced room not too far away from the fairground. The city got a airport just next to the fairground, quite easy to get there. There is also a similar big show up north that got the same models to see, 'Intermodellbau' in Dortmund every year late April.
