What is your favorite Fantasy Romance? 📚

I've been looking for someone who reads similar books to me so really glad I came across this video. ACOTAR and the FBAA series are two of my favourite series. This video has definitely added quite a few books to my list, looking forward to binging your videos for more recommendations.

Omg you are dead on with the COTAR series. I agree 1 💯 with you. I am glad because I usually have a hard time identifying with YT book reviewers and find I don't like there suggestions. However because you are so dead on I think I will give some of your favs a try. Thanks

Yes to ACOMAF & ACOWAR in perfection I totally agree! For me i'd put HOSAB in perfection but the beauty of reading is that we all read the same things but see them differently :) for me Throne of glass the series is perfection and cannot wait for my reread!

I recommend the key to erebus series by Emma v leech. It is a vampire romance but were talking witches, fae, demons, mages, angels, and more and rhodney who is the best friend is my absolute favorite character, he is hilarious. This series can be read alone but references her other series and there is a bit of a crossover and her other series is amazing as well which takes place in the fae lands. You follow a young witch who has just come into her power and there are so many new revelations and the story has so many twists and turns. One of my absolute favorite series. The series really takes off after the 1st book, give it a shot.

SJM is queen of my heart forever. ToG might be my overall fav series. ACoMaF is top tier. I also like to pretend ACoFaS doesn't exist lol, loads of people say they think of it as a Holiday Special but it makes me want to puke. Crescent City is my newest obsession AHoEaB I start to cry my face off so soon after I start re reads just because I love it so much. Can't wait for the next book. I think one of the things I love most is all of the threads and things we pick up from having read in other places....

Just finding this video but I loved it!! I would say I've read about 60-65% of these but definitely added the others to my tbr. It's amazing to see others perspectives on the same books. ex- I LOVEDDDD a ruin of roses series and could not put it down until I finished. Also zodiac academy that is one I have been wanting to try out THANK YOU!! ❤️

I read Blood and Ash--as a favor to my friend. We swap book recs. I will only say...i am certainly not the target audience. I suffered through that one lol. Glad many of you do enjoy it.

I also loved a court of wings and ruin, even though most seem to not like it!

I just found your channel and LOVE your content. Have you read kushiels Dart Series? It's pretty dark, check your trigger warnings, but the world building is amazing - her writing is very lofty.

I truly felt the same about House of sky and breath. I really despised what she did with Tharion and some of the other characters. The last chapter was the best part.

I have actually bought the folk of the air mostly for the second and third book cause I've heard you may not like cruel prince that much but the second and third book are wayyyy much better maybe you like the second and third book much more too

Great video, you basically covered all the romantasy books on my tbr and I agree with a lot of your opinions on the books I've already read. Have to say though, my rating for Kingdom of the Wicked/Kingdom of the Cursed is the exact opposite. I really enjoyed the first one and had such high hopes for the sequel, but unfortunately to me it felt like a filler for the third book and I couldn't tell you the plot if my life depended on it. I skimmed through the last 150 pages just to get it over with :/ I will pick up the final book in September, hopefully this will be like serpent & dove was for you!

I’ve read all of the except Savaged Lands, Prison Healer, and The Savage and the Swan. I would have ranked everything very similar except for King of Battle and Blood. I thought that was Great! I’m not a huge fan of slow burn so for me it suits my taste nicely!

I think you might like Between Wrath and Mercy by Jess Wisecup. It’s seriously such a great fantasy romance.

I felt the same about Blood and Honey, and indeed the author redeems herself in book 3.

You should check out “A Cursed Kiss” by Jenny Hickman! It’s such a good fantasy romance! It’s NA so there’s some steam, too!

I have a lot of issues with a house of sky and breath too and I’m only a few pages in. Right off the bat, it was political. I feel like the author is trying to shove her political ideology in the story and it’s so obvious to me. It makes me hate books like this bc I read to get away from world issues, not to read her opinions about them. Sarah J. Maas is no longer my favorite author because the more she writes, the more political her books get. One example is that she has to have a token lesbian or gay couple in every book of hers.

wait i haven't read the war of 2 queens im on waitlist from my lib. i never read companion books in a series but you're saying i have to read that maiden's book before the war of 2 queens why?!! hate if that's the case bad move imo.
