i’ve had the “Puppet” world and visuals planned out for years ever since the moment the song was written. i would sit with Dre and Sean (producers and co-writers of Puppet) and gush about how i envisioned the video to be days after we wrote the song. and now, years later, i can share it with you. this video is so special to me because i get to tell a story that is so personal to me and do it through my favourite things; makeup, fashion, hair, and layers upon layers of storytelling. it’s a little weirder, darker, and not as polished as what i’m used to making but i think it depicts the colourful chaos in my mind so well. Kyle Cogan and the entire team brought this video to life so beautifully and i’m so excited to share this world that is so authentic to me, with you.

@@Frihms Yes I agree with you. She has no need for autotune. She has amazing vocal capability and even though she's within the pop genre I still feel she vocally jumps out of the box and makes her stuff unique. I also appreciate that she hasn't sexualized her videos either.

I was already captivated by the audio versions. Streamed them in HiFi many 100s of times. This MV hits differently. Such powerful symbolism. So metaphorically rich. Fun and edgy yet dark and profoundly relevant in many domains. Gives me the chills. Can't avoid them. Such a work of art. BTW. The whole meaning behing the song is just absolutely beautiful. I agree that we limit ourselves from discovering the parts of ourselves that we haven't found yet because we can't get over the mental speed bump that we create for ourselves. While people throughout our lives do try to tell us what we can wear, eat, do and who we are with, we ALL deserve freedom. I will forever be amazed by your creative and beautiful mind Faouzia. You're such an inspiration to me as an instrumentalist and vocalists as well, and to many others. It's such a privilege to know have found your music because it has helped me immensely when times get rough. Listening to your music instantly puts me in such a good mood. You will definitely make a mark on the music industry in your own creative and unique way. The visuals, the meaningful lyrics, the production, the outfits and hairstyles, and most importantly, THAT VOICE! UGH! You have it all from personality, looks, sheer talent, and intelligence.
