"How It All Works Out (Stripped)" is very similar to this but even better - piano ballad. Also "Bad Dreams (Stripped)" is another crazy piano ballad she does. Great reactions!

I love watching someone discover and appreciate an artist I enjoy. Thank you. I hadn’t thought about this song from the perspective of a two person relationship. I had always thought it was more about a social group. Maybe because I had seen the official video. But your interpretation gives it another layer. It seems the more specific a song is, the more universal the message. I do admire Faouzia’s song writing ability. For your next Faouzia, I’d like to suggest “Secrets”. There is an interesting pop video. But the Genius Live at Home recording is more intimate. This song seems closest to her song “Hero” and I see how her dramatic style of writing can get pop-fied. Her singing reminds me of Lady Gaga, her piano of Carole King, something about her songs reminds me of Neil Diamond and Bob Seger. It’s so interesting to watch her progress. She’s back on stage in October for one set at a music festival in Montreal. I’m really looking forward to her first tour so I can see her live.

Agree. There are lots of new talented singers. But she has something diva-ish. She reminds me of Barbra Streisand, Adele, Lady Gaga. On piano, she reminds me of Carole King. Personality wise, reminds me of a young Shania Twain. And in terms of the work she has put in, and building her career, to this stage, it reminds me of Celine Dion’s early days. We will have to see.

Your reaction to Faouzia made me subscribe. Her voice is so powerful. BTW this song is about the first day she started University and entered the lecture room and people were talking about her, didn't like her.

Powerful vocals. Great message. Not to detract from Faouzia, but you haven't done a second reaction to Aurora yet. Her "Murder Song 54321" live at the Noble Peace Prize Concert or "Through The Eyes Of A Child" live at Nidarosdomen are good choices. For most songs her live performances are better than her music videos.
