New sub here. We love the timeline song, the history, and the skip counting. We are taking a break from the community especially since we’re moving but I had tutored for many years. Beginner question here: where does one find the Math songs? In the CC app?

When it’s hard we skip CC and we’ve started sequence 1!!! I take what works for us and leave the rest!!! We just do the memory work for CC!!! We love the timeline and the math and science memory work and add the rest in if we get to it!!! My motto is to do the next thing unless I find a replacement!!! I didn’t think we would love the classical method but I think it’s awesome!!! When I was a pre school teacher I found out that sometimes I may not see what they understand till I hear it!!! I’m doing the history memory work if CC and sequence one with all my kids and my teenager starts conversations of what we need to learn and I love it!!!

I love “do the next thing” 😊 Though I have to say that my initial reaction to “trust that everything will work out” attitude in homeschool is a negative one: as a second generation homeschooler I often wish there had been more consistency in my own home education experience. But of course that doesn’t mean you have to do everything in every season :)
