Hey Ola I want to thank you for all the great advice you give you got me back into playing guitar was able to finally find my tone I was always looking for. I gave up playing for 25 yrs when I was told I had cancer 5 yrs ago I started little by little to pick it up again. I started chemotherapy 6 weeks ago and Guitar keeps my mind occupied...so without knowing you saved me thxs for everything. luv you OLa

Listened to the solo album yesterday Ola. Really awesome stuff all the way through. I dig it. Nice mix of metal and prog with sweet vibes throughout. Solar Part 1 in particular made me crank the volume.

The Pantera album "Power Metal" which is Phil's first album is also good and I do consider it legit. Dime's playing on that album is top notch. They were transitioning into CFH but it still some good shit. cheers

Hey Ola! I've listened to your album probably more than 20 times by now. What I like about it the most is a fact that it doesn't get boring at all. On the contrary, it gets more and more interesting with every next listen. There's always something new to discover there, there's a different perspective that I listen to it with every single time (probably because of the variations of styles and complexity of composition) and every single time when I finish the album I have a different favourite track. Thanks for a very cool piece of art. It's really something different. I like it a lot! My question is: what's next? When we can expect a second part of your solo stuff? Most importantly, are you planning the follow up to "Master Of The Universe" at all? Wish you all the best and once again thank you for the music! Respect! Don't necessary stay metal AF all the time. Hola Ola! I met you briefly at NAMM this year and took a picture. First time I ever had the Solar guitars in my hands and I was incredibly blown away by the quality, especially vs. the price point. I play in my own band professionally and are called The Browning. I was wondering if playing live music all these years later still brings you the joy it used to, especially now with your own brand and band! Congrats on the solo album, hope you continue to prosper!

When I saw Dream theater with Iron maiden John Petrucci's tone was so fricken amazing live I think he had the best guitar tone I have ever heard live for my ears. Pro-pain was second for live guitar tone.

ASMR mic is awesome, your sound quality is better imho! Keep on rocking Ola! Ola i am really glad that you make guitars that are objectively a better guitar design than the "traditional" electric guitars made by more "renowned" brands. I don't buy guitars very often and i keep them for ever, and it boggles my mind how stubborn guitar manufacturers are about guitar designs that are impractical for playing, be it a terrible neck joint or a nose dive issue, etc. I am not a professional guitar player, but i have been playing guitar for 20 years, it is my passion and in my 20 year experience i have played a lot of guitars. I am glad that people like you, Rob Chapman, Tosin Abasi, etc. are pushing guitar designs that are actually better than traditional designs, with "frets above 15 th fret are not just for show" mentality. Your Solar single cut has just been promoted on my guitar shopping list! Cheers from Croatia!

Ola you mentioned Triaxis and MarkIIC+, but most of Awake was recorded with a Dual Recto and Images and Words with various amps. They even used Marshalls on Metropolis

You can get an adjustable arm that attaches to your desk for the microphone so you can position it and also fold it out of the way when you don't need it. You probably already know this but I figured I would mention it, as I also started out using a little stand like you have there and hated it because it would fall over, get in the way, etc.

I think the microphone sounded really well. I liked the previous microphone, though. It kept the space a little bit "cleaner" to my eyes. You should check "We Exist Even Dead", a band from Barcelona. Cheers.

I like the audio with the new mic. I thought the old method was fine, but I def notice the quality upgrade with the new Rode mic.

would you ever consider putting scalloped neck on a solar guitar? that would be nice with one model that has it (do a flying V haha)
