Hi, Major Mandisa. I just read that training for engineers is followed by studies at a tertiary institution. I would like to know, what generally happens to those who already have an engineering qualification?

You do basic military training and officer's formative and then you're posted at a base that requires you and you begin your work as a qualified engineer.

Hi. I want to apply to be an Air Traffic Controller in the SAAF. So I wanted to ask if Air Traffic Control falls under "Communications and Flight Operations" in the application forms? Because I am really confused whether it is it or not. Please help.

Please see this link: www.saairforce.co.za/recruitment/air-space-control it details it clearly. The application form should say "Air Traffic Control"
