Hey Prod Riddiman! If I use this beat on my channel then someone decided to purchase it and copyright strikes me can I do anything? Or is this just a risk I have to take... It's happened many times of the past few years with your music and i've just accepted it but was wondering if I can take action? Or do I have to purchase the beat myself to prevent it.

Hey man! Don’t worry they shouldn’t be claiming you, even when I sell a beat exclusively the contract states that they’re not allowed to upload their music through KZfaq’s copyright system, I don’t enforce that obviously but its there to protect channels who just want to use my music in their videos! Plus the claims you’re getting are probably from people who haven’t even purchased the rights, KZfaq makes it way too easy to do… You can dispute any claims you get saying you have the copyright holders permission to use the music and they should be removed! @@ProdRiddiman Thanks man appreciate it, I just haven't bothered to dispute these ones over the past years as I wasn't 100% aware if it was allowed or not. But yeah you're right youtube does make it way to easy to do... unfortunately i've had to dispute a majority of my highlight videos over the past years and literally lost Tens of thousands 😭. But now wanted to finally actually take action cause I'm just annoyed that these random peeps copyright claim my videos and get the $ from it 🥲

@@Evample I’m sorry to hear that man, I feel your frustration! KZfaq basically allows anyone using a music distribution service to claim ownership of music which isn’t theirs, and the services themselves often don’t care who has the rights either, its really stupid lol But yeah you should definitely dispute them! If you do it in the first 30 days KZfaq will hold any revenue anyway so you won’t lose anything!

To be honest I just started with the cheapest refurbished MacBook I could buy and some free software called GarageBand. I can’t really recommend any channels in particular tbh, you’re best bet is to just search KZfaq to find tutorials on what you specifically want to learn once you get set up with a laptop and software… Good luck with it all! ☺️
