I remember being alone for christmas morning when i was 17 parents were out of town woke up at 6 am to a fresh layer of snow on the ground and drove around town drifting my truck listening to this song while no one was on the roads. ❤

I remember hearing this for the first time 10 years ago on the radio, jamming out to it and all. I had the beat of it in my head for weeks, but couldn't remember the words, and always wondered if I would hear it again so I can find out what it's called. Not once in 10 years did I hear it played again, but now here it is a decade later, and I finally heard it in a grocery story. So I found an empty aisle, which wasn't hard to do with covid restrictions, and listened super close to the words and finally found this! My life is now complete, and I can die happy.

Remember when this first came out it’s so nostalgic

I was in secondary school when this song came out, and the scene of skateboarding always caught me. I wanted to skate but where I live skateboarding/skateboards are not common. I’m now 28, got myself a penny board few years back, but caught with life that I didn’t had the chance to skate much. I’m still learning, and was skating today, working on my one foot balance on the board. And the scene from 00:26-00:32 is always on my mind when I skate. But I have forgotten it’s from rocketeer until I accidentally came across the song on an instagram after my skating session. Then the skate and song suddenly matched in my brain, and straight to KZfaq I come for rocketeer. How amazing the coincidence, which I believe isn’t an accident.
