Traveling over 2300kms to the fly-in community of Norman Wells, NWT, Canada, followed by a trip to a Remote Island just shy of the Arctic Circle on Great Bear Lake.

Pretty tough to find 1400’ on the smith arm. Great vid. The Pilatus tipped its wing to me last July. On its way into Garth’s. The bear is now in your blood.

It’s pretty crazy isn’t it? Spent a lot of days in shorts as the temp hit mid-high 20C! But you can sure bet it gets pretty chilly in winter haha

Where on the bear were you , looks like old Branson's lodge outpost camp at the katsedie river ? Was a guide on the Bear from 1978 thru 1991 , guided or managed at all five lodges during that period . Many faces and memories . Thanks for sharing

Was in the heat of the 2020. Only way to get on the airline was to wear it. Options were to wear a mask on the flight, or lose all the money we paid to go on it.
