Former UKIP leader Nigel Farage was welcomed with open arms at the Tory Party Conference, but the GB News presenter and former politician says he wouldn't rejoin the Conservative party and questions if the North wanted HS2. I think the mistake with Brexit is that people like Farage tried to get votes from types who thought voting to leave the EU would mean less people in Britain from Pakistan, as they're thick and didn't realise EU means Europe and white people come from Europe, and if we get less people here from Europe, it would mean more people from other places. They didn't realise Farage just wanted to keep the British economy closely linked with USA banks, encouraging people to live in greed and debt, so he could keep selling his get rich quick schemes. Plus we would be even more of a USA lapdog and have to take in the refugees due to USA meddling. Such as how Afghanistan wasn't extremist until the USA were arming and training extremists there in the 1980s against Afghanistan, and then the USA didn't care what the extremists were doing to the people until 9/11, and now the USA has just given up there to hand Afghanistan back to the Taliban, and those same people who thought leaving the EU would mean less immigrants are angry at all the refugees.

Nigel Farage resigned as soon as getting people to vote to leave the EU, to leave us out the EU with the most diverse promoting Tory party ever, yet people still say lefty to mean those who promote diversity, when USA capitalism and UK Tories promote diversity more. Now Farage is off selling his get rich quick schemes based on stock market gambling, while Britain is in a mes for following his advice, UKIP started with the French born James Goldsmith, whose family changed their name to sound British. He wanted to create problems with Britain and the rest of Europe, to keep our economy closely linked with USA banks. Scotland and the rest of the UK seem to have more sense, as since they have devolution to counteract Tory policies, they have voted in politicians who care about their people, to give them things like free prescriptions and university. While England has diversity and English students could buy a house with the amount of debt they need to repay.

I always thought that people who think politicians like Nigel Farage want to leave the EU for the good of Most British people were dumb, as only need to look at who he is. Nigel Farage is a Thatcherite ex Tory banker, who was paying his foreign wife on tax payers expenses and hiding money in foreign tax havens, who resigned as soon as he got people to vote against leaving the EU, to leave us out the EU with Tories in power, who only work in the best interests of a few rich people, their tax dodging donors and bankers. Farage is now selling get rich quick schemes from gambling on the stock market.

To call Farage a fascist is so absurd and bears no relation to reality, it doesn’t warrant answering. Farage is astute and understands how he has shifted politics from the outside. To win EU elections outside the 2 party system with UKIP then Brexit party shows how influential he is. Who else with what other party could achieve that outside the mass funded and generous media coverage of the 2 party state we live in?!

@alanbutterfield8057
@alanbutterfield8057 8 ай бұрын
It also mite have something to do with low wages as 14 million people in the UK live in poverty and 1 million children sleep on the floor as mum & dad can't afford a bed all this has happened since we have had a Tory government since 2010 all this issues on boats is a issue but also being used as a distraction in my opinion the massive problem we have is the Tory party as they have had 13 years and still even today they keep doing more damage but promise the world. I have never seen such poverty. Its disgusting. Nigel is Tory as in its not my fault its your fault so stop moaning. I live on Merseyside and I don't see my GP's or hospitals or any problems on Mereyside with migrants. Full stop. The evidence that supports this claim on low wages is that 40% of people whom claim UC are working class now that's shocking. Sorry one last thing Nigel is a charlaton the dmagae this man has done to businesses with his empty Brexit Promises that never held water but yet people believed and that's how Boris Johnson got into number 10 what a absolute mess.

@@alanbutterfield8057 1 million children sleep on the floor?? I wonder how bad their parents are that the kids don't get a bed but they do? Or are you saying all those millions of people don't have a bed in the house? Sounds a bit made up to me. As for poverty, been with us forever, I know it I was brought up in poverty, no hot water, no bathroom, an outside toilet with no light but we all had a bed, so that statistic just doesn't cut it for me. Hate the Tories but don't make things up.
@alanbutterfield8057
@alanbutterfield8057 8 ай бұрын
@LibraOnAmission7 The numbers I have quoted are correct. I take your point how you lived in poverty and I simply can't imagine how that would have been and I thank you for being honest. Its 2023 and the vast number of people and children suffering is absolutely staggering. No one person or family should have to live below the breadline and have to claim Universal Credit while in work as the wages are low and often are simply not given the hours and 40% of people on Universal credit are working class that to me is just disgusting and massively unfair. How can anyone even think about getting a mortgage when thier wages would not even touch the sides re mortgage payments never mind finding the huge deposit that would be needed. You raised the point about children not having beds again numbers are correct as like any bed the frame breaks or the entire bed is just finished as kids will be kids. I don't hate the Tory party but the always punish the most vulnerable. The latest stunt is to push 100,000 people on the sick and/or longterm sick back into work or stop their ESA they have no idea how tough it is for the sick. I speak from personal experience with regards to my late wife.

You can't just turn boats back in the English Channel and point them in the direction of France to solve the problem, it's not practicable. I guess in the Australian case they took them tens of miles from Australia to where they originated from and dropped them off in a boat in the water near there and pointed them in the right direction to where they had come from so they could go home, dropped them off just miles away from the coast they originated from but many miles away from Australia. France is just too near so you can't remove the immigrants to miles away from our shoreline like I guess the Aussies did to encourage them to go home. Government needs to get it's act together and process the channel migrants immediately they arrive on our shores and resolve the cases fairly within a week 'say', those ineligible need to be flown home within a week, you do it by employing thousands of people and training them well and attacking the problem like a military action. Take DNA tests to identify their homes if they've thrown their documents overboard and return them there. Long term the countries they're coming from need to be economically built up so they don't leave in the first place but stay there because they can have a good life there.

If they were consistently returned to the beaches of France, instead of housed and processed, then it would deter, can't see the French allowing it as they are no doubt rubbing their hands at getting those migrants here and getting paid by us meanwhile.

You can, if after towing them back to the French beach and ensuring everyone has debarked safely, you disable the boats. Sure they can get new boats, but then we'll disable those too, and the next and so on. It's perfectly legal. Under International maritime law, a vessel entering the territorial waters of another country without permission can be seized (happens all the time elsewhere, from illegal trawlers off Chile to drug-running boats off Florida etc.) Once seized, the boats are the property of HM Government and can be wharehoused, destroyed or be put to use however they like from that point on. This obviously includes using it to transport people to beaches and then burning the boats after.

@@sbam4881 Hiya, Britain can't tow boats back to the French beach because France is a foreign country, all Britain can do is turn the boats around in the middle of the English Channel once in British waters and point them in the direction of France, it'd be like the French Army landing in Margate and disembarking people on it's beach, it would be an act of war!

UK population isn’t exploding? Our yearly growth the past two years has been 0.34% vs 0.77% in 2010 & 2015. The reduction in growth is due to fall in net migrants from 2010 to pres. and reduced fertility rate. It may *feel* like it’s exploding because population density has increased with 85% of population living in urban areas vs 82% in 2010… That said over 50% of the YoY increase in population (albeit is small) is from legal immigration but given fewer and fewer people are having children we need them so the gov can tax them or else we’re going to have an ageing population that is less productive which will lead to less economic growth. Either allow immigration or use policy to increase the birth rates ? Nobody called him out with facts

Debating something with someone who doesn’t agree is different entirely, they never heard the expression “to respectfully disagree”? lol… I mean I don’t agree with ITVs very obvious left learning views, in fact they are sometimes offensive (I.e. calling brexit voters ‘anti immigrant… no in fact its ‘pro British’ to many). Doesn’t stop them however.
