特にアイボルトを使用するアイデアはとても参考になりました。
ルータープレーンのブレードに六角レンチを使用するアイデアは過去の動画の視聴者の方からコメントしていただいたものです。
彼らの素晴らしい発想に感謝です。
In order to make this router plane, I watched various videos.
The idea of using eyebolts in particular was very helpful.
The idea of using a hexagon wrench for the router plane blade was commented by viewers of previous videos.
Thank you for their wonderful ideas.

Hello. My name is Schorschi. I live in Northern Germany. I'm German. I just recently came across your channel and am absolutely thrilled. As a Western European, I'm so spoiled that I'm almost ashamed, because many of your work processes make me think: "Why doesn't he use a machine now?" But that, precisely that, is what makes your videos so "meditative"; Everything is made by hand, with a lot of skill, a lot of patience, a certain spirit and even more, with a lot of experience. Oh, if only I had this gift too. Of course I have read your vita, and I tell you: “It is not important when and whether your house will be “finished”, the path, and only your path is the goal! And beyond that, it doesn't really matter whether other people like it, because it's your house and you want and have to live in it. I greet you warmly and wish you health and a long life. Schorschi from Northern Germany.

Great work! If you try removing about 1/2” from the length of the cutter then the edge would be moved more toward the rear of the plane and that might take some of the lateral torque off of the blade and give you more control over the cutting action. I think you have inspired me to build one of these. Thanks!

I'm going to build this with your suggestion to shorten the blade. Good idea.

I have no words for the beauty and craftmanship of this project. And a special thanks to the way the video was recorded and edited. No music and no high speed playback. Although I feared that the intro music would continue during the video and I almost left. The best videos only have tool sound!

In the early 70s, when I started in apprenticeship, an old timer (wait, I'm an old timer now!) at the shop had built one of these from an Allen wrench, very very simple but very effective. Glad to see he honed the top. Some do one side of a chisel edge, not realizing that both sides make the edge.

@@fareastwood May I add something about using an allen wrench? I found that the end product works beeter if you file away the angled sides of the iron. To not do this can result in the plane binding in narrow channels.

This was great! One thing I'd say is I reckon trimming the allen wrench shorter at the blade would make it more stable when cutting, less leverage acting against you. Lovely, just got an old Stanley no.71 myself, wouldn't mind making a small router plane someday like this

Wouldn't it be nicer to make half blind dovetails to have a flat sole always? Moisture change (shrinking) makes the vertical part overstanding the sole and scratch, even hinder, routerplaning. When I make a copy, I'll consider that. Make more tools like this .... Best
