Taking a close up look and reviewing the new Farer Resolute Three Hands 36mm with white dial. They've been making a 39.5mm version of this watch for some time now. This is a Swiss Made watch with British design influence, it has excellent build quality, with fantastic color coordination on the dial. The movement is also visible through the window on the back.
This watch also comes in the following colorways: Sorbet, Erebus Midnight, and Discovery Red.

Sizing looks great imo. I think the 39mm would be too big on your wrist.

I think you’re right on about the lug length. I’ve tried on both the 36 and the 39.5 side by side at a watch fair and I felt the lugs on the 36 made the watch seem a little bit stunted. Not only that but there is a lot going on, on the face of this watch. The 36 looks cramped, especially next to the 39.5 which gives all the elements of the dial room to coexist in a pleasant and proportionate manner.

@@dparis2172 I’m all about well fitting small watches, in proportion to your wrist and body size. This one was too small on my 6.5 inch wrist. My air-king 34mm fits a little larger which is perfect for me personally.

fits perfectly, takes "time" to get used to a normally sized watch with it's appropriately proportioned components

I think “normally sized” is subjective, and I’m not sure if Farer is the brand to set the benchmark for this.

Liked the review with one small suggestion, a lume shot at the end may add a beautiful touch!

Nice review. I think this looks spot on on your wrist. I've tried all 4 variants and found they all visually look a bit different size wise. I also have a 6.5 inch wrist. Maybe one of the others would visually work better for you? The Midnight Erebus was absolutlely my personal favourite!

I have a 7inch wrist and this fits good. I got the red dial one.

Thanks for the video! One of the factors that just made me buy one. Farer has been nothing but kind and responsive. As far as the "length off", as you said, it's very subjective. It depends on so many elements, from your personal taste, to whether you're a big man, or a light weight, to how you dress...I may be lucky, but I seem to have a versatile wrist and I get away with this size very well, as I do with 42mm. Straps play a very important part in this watch

Very helpful. Was looking at this one, but "fits smaller than a 34mm AirKing" and "too small for my 6.5" wrist" are important to know. Thanks for sharing this!

@@Watchreviewblog yup the challenge is where/how do you try on a Farer? No stores carry it. So unless your friend has one (or you have a YT Channel about watches and Farer will send you one) then only option for most of us is to order it and hope it fits, and if not then sell it.

I have a 6 1/2 inch wrist as well and this fits perfect on me. Could also be the size of your forearms? I have slender arms so maybe that's why it fits perfect on me.

Hi, great review! One question, does the rotor make sound while winding? I mean compared to a Sellita or ETA movement.

That’s a great question. I’d say it can pass as a dress watch, but it’s not entirely dressy. The color flairs and automatic movement take away from being 100% dress watch. It’s very close though.
