The bruins aren't my favorite team in the NHL, but Rene Rancourt is definitely the best anthem singer in the NHL.

You weren’t at a bruins game until Rene Rancourt sang the anthem. Bruins fans my age don’t know anyone but him kicking off a game with the stump pump!!! Most iconic moment definitely had to be after the marathon bombing, and he only sang 5 words, he knew enough to let that moment take over. His first anthem gig in Boston.., game 5 of the 75 World Series.....the Fisk homer game!!!

i was always very disappointed to arrive having missed Rene before games.....games were never the same without seeing him start it off.

I was pretty teary-eyed watching this. My grandpa and I watched Rancort for many years and always loved the fist pump. You just weren't watching a Bruins game until he gave the fist pumps. Hope he has a happy retirement. Go B's!

I met him at a local hockey rink and got to wear his Stanley cup ring. the classiest guy you will ever meet in your life, and a blast to talk to. Good luck in retirement you sure have earned it.

I remember Rene singing the Russian anthem. Russian team banging their sticks on the ice in approval and smiling.Rene really knocked that one out.

Players (Marchand, Krug (glad he got injured!...)), Broadcaster (Edwards (hides behind the mic like most Bruins behind Chara and McQuaid)), Announcer (Martin ("Bruins lose in 5...WHEEEEEEWW!!!!,) and last but not least Rancourt (Think I saw him on a few episodes of "To catch a Predator). Bruins suck!!!! Glad you lost. Tuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu you suck!!, Not a single classy player in the organisation. Well, maybe Chara. Seems to be getting softer in his old age. Nah, he sucks too!
