um yeah i studied persia and yeah i admit the persian empire was the first hugest empire BUT the reason why it was because they barely fought there enemies such as the ionians, assyrians, babylonians and medes (cyrus was infact half mede) and borrowed many customs from their neighbouring assyrian-babylonian heritage (even nowruz had been stolen off assyro-babylonian new year 'akitu' or 'nissanu' for us it is year 6758 we just finished celebrating it)
