Ursarctic, especially when running Wolfreyet, very much feels like a 5Ds character deck. Visually mechanical, with an out-of-archetype generic boss monster, designed more to grind games out than simply win them.

I'm happy you heard the feedback! That "gravekeeper" deck didn't actually play gravekeepers. It just searched necrovalley which didn't constitute calling it a gravekeeper deck

they have a spell that reads "draw 7" and they are still bad. Idk if they were planning to give them a ritual or something the like to make them to combo with drytron down the line and just canceled but this shit aint cooked, its still raw

Ursarctic is so close and yet a billion miles away from playability. They keep tying them to drytron but miss the easiest home run imaginable: level 8-9 rituals, especially ones with an effect if a level 1 is used to summon them (since Ursarctic has the level 1 synchro it wouldn't even be impossible to do). They keep emptying their hand by tributing their own monsters and only breaking semi-even with the little guys...but they can't recycle cards worth a darn and their +7 (ridiculous in anything else) can't even act as a bandaid for their advantage hemorrhaging. Neither do they have any meaningful effects while they're empty-handed or when they're tributed, which could've been a balancing act to the cards they keep throwing away but instead get to rot except when the player can (oh joy) banish 1 a turn instead of bleeding even more cards.

This whole archetype is something out of a fever dream

This one was great, really looking forward to this being a regular series! I really like that you plan on doing this alone but collabing from time to time; its a good balance and helps keep longevity for the series. Guests can add a lot to T500 but don't always need to be there.

Fun fact: in OCG structure manga, somehow MC with ursatic actually capable to beat drytron 🤣. Tbf, the drytron don't utilize herald stuff but still funny af.

Also for the record if any of you like the look of the cards but dont want to get saddled with unplayable bullshit, use 3 ash 3 maxx c to normal summon with your 7s or 8s to make barrone, use a diva-duonigis-prima donna-artisan line instead of lefty righty drives to actually threaten a 1 card combo with your normal summon and just use ursa’s as cover for them, dont olay the fusion or quint charge and play no more than 20 ursa cards total, use small world to stick the two halves of the deck together. What you get in the end is ursarctics posing a middling threat to eat up handtraps then diva being a 1 card combo to make like an untargetable chengying + shenshen and hope you can sit on that to win the game. If you want to play them pure then best of luck masochist.

Finally, a place where my unchained destiny board deck will finally gain some recognition.

I'm so hyped for this series now you have no idea. Being one of those terrible Timmys 0/X every tournament it's nise to see some of these decks see the light of day. And that you took feedback into consideration going forward i'm glad i gave this series a second shot!

This is really good. Only way that I can see the series improving even further is with more replays. Because, besides that, its really solid and fun.

love Ursartics. a deck with no normal summons, and a (technically) generic boss monster with Polari just needing level difference of 1 between tuner and non-tuner leaves tons of possible deck construction potential. Sure, all the possibilities are bad, but I still have a blast deck building with them.

Ursarctics. My beloved. I actually have a list to build in the future, using the Icejade "engine" and focusing on "Water Synchro Only". More like a challenge deck, what they call "Avatar Deck" since my list is all Water. Next Episode: Dual Avatar? I wonder how many Branded versions we'll have.. I think I still have my replay against Runick in the Duelist Cup.

I really enjoyed this episode. As someone who is a fan of terrible decks, I love seeing what other terrible decks can do.

I understand that the point of it is for you to react to the replays of things but I would love an episode or two where the person is walking you through their process watching the replay back with you to kind of go over the nuances of what the deck is supposed to do

As a person who plays Ursarctics the spell Ursarctic Radiation is a technical draw 7 but since everyone seems to be caught up with the false ideology that its supposed to give you a true +1 advantage is wild. Decks that give you absolutely unreal amounts of advantage typically have limits or out right banned cards. Ursarctic Radiation is made to keep your hand at a semi consistent size while going into plays. In no way is it ment to dump 7 extra cards in you hand at no cost. Twice over, 3 of 4 cards you draw have already been replenished when using any of you Ursarctic Mik starters (yes even mikbilis cause he gives a free special summon from hand. The end of the play is just you cycling the last 2-3 cards with your level 7 being banished ending with Ursarctic Septentrion or Grand Chariot varying on which is most applicable for a situation. Another situation is whit Ursarctic Radiation being out of counters, what then? Pop it. Have your opponent pop it. I use eldlich cause you never know if you need to finish your opponent it a 6.5k hit with Septentrion. In MD, both Maxx C and Joyous Spring & Ash Blossom can help you end on any Lvl10 Synchro, so as long as you are willing to end a board on that or have nothing much to go into. The Archetype isn't bad but does need some Quality of Life Support to make them a bit more sturdy. When you actually play them you learn you need a lot more non-targeting protection like Lightning Storms, Raigeki, Dark Holes, to keep you afloat

That deck can't still search their own band-aid card without relying on their own Septentrion.....

I love ursarctics. Yeah, they're bad, but it's not every day I can get to counter things like sky strikers. Even had won some games against swordsoul and branded. Helps that I run Eldlich, too. Also I plundered a plunder patrol's ship.

Chaos hunter and Nibiru are amazing cards as both tech cards for this current meta and as hand traps that don't brick your hand. Ursarctic is a busted deck only held back by the fact that their highest attack is 3000. One day my baby ursarctic deck will become the best!

I think this series lacks some meat so far. I think doing a full deep dive on a archetype and fully explaining what the cards do before going into a match would really help. I'm not fully familliar with this archetype and by the end of the video I still didn't really know what their gameplan was. I think pausing to read or explain effects or interactions would help too.

I don't have the means on my phone to submit a decent replay, but if anybody wants a decklist to see if they can get a decent enough replay I'd be happy to comment one.

BE while old, isn't 5 / 10, 6, 6.5 / 10 would be fair, since at the very least they're competent on their plan (Turbo Dante pass... Or Cherubini, but that's another story) Currently playing Labrynth - Tindangle (+ 4 Unchained cards), and while Labrynth takes a good chunk of opponent's interactions, it really has synergy with Tindangles, specially with the field up; so it's not like I'm using Destiny fusion or Adventure engine so DPE / Gryphon carries the deck Don't have enough replays yet (Like 3 or 4, only 1 with Labrynth), so most likely I'll send once I have enough (At least 2/3 more duels)
