In a funny way, that Goblin spell is actually a cute extender for Memento. If the horse gets stopped for example, you can use this, tribute the horse, special Goblino out from deck, activate Goblino to pop itself to send Ghattic and Fusion, revive Ghattic, add Fusion to hand Unfortunately, with no way to search it, its not that reliable since you just kind of hope to open it, but its a neat tech

Azamina are bizarre, this is an archetype that could feasibly work *completely* differently when they start making Illusion monsters.

I don't mind if we get more DIABELLESTAR support as long as we don't get SNAKE-EYES support

at worse they will just limit snake eye, which will help the deck since it will just be used as an engine. they wont ban anything from the lore

Goblin bikers can now run lair of darkness if they want, they have a searchable tribute for cost, easy way to out Arrival if you happen to see it for some reason

cant you just slot a branded engine in there sending cartessia and fusion with it ? seems like you will have a few slots in Main and ED open for fun stuff (at least for now)

This is kind of what you'd expect from lore cards. Diabellstar (and I guess her rival Diabellze) were intentionally made generic so they could keep moving her along in new archetypes, making it easier to ban and destroy the previous ones like Snake Eyes without hitting the main character.

I am kind of disappointed with the goblin cards, cause they are my new favourite, i just wanted a couple of good level modulation cards or add good level 4 goblin that plays into the deck's mechanic, because they are so good at spamming rank 3, and i just wanted to access the rank 4 pool

Farfa means, 1 Diabellstar. Diabellstar isnt going to play well with the Fusion package. Outside Sinful Spoils Deception. They don't do much for the new cards. Examiner can reshuffle/set for a Fusion that doesnt need the Brickstarr. Diabellze and White Woods might get tied into this 'package'. Diabellze being able to actually play with herself and contribute.

ive been topping my locals with goblin bikers consistently the deck generates so much and can play through every handtrap its almost borderline snake-eyes but a lot of people arent aware of its power which is why i want to keep on the downlow lol they also have a ton of one card and two card combos they have great starters even without the new support but its great that we got more support for them Edit to add: The new trap card helps them play around shifter and that was the only card that could significantly hurt the deck besides droll but droll you can still play through, this just made it so shifter is no longer an issue

In terms of powerlevel, this is going to be a Tier 0 levels of power right here. If you want an explanation to what I mean, let me break down how the Azamina and Sinful Spoil cards work. The vast majority of the Sinful Spoil cards have graveyard effects. So with the Azamina cards, the quickplay and normal spell for the archetype is essentially polymerization that can cheat out the Azamina fusions using Sinful Spoil cards as the cost for the fusion summon. Of the Azamina fusions there are 4 of them, 3 of them being level 6 and the other level 8. The azamina normal and quickplay polymerization spell only needs 1 sinful spoil card for the level 6 fusions and 2 for the level 8 fusion. Like I mentioned earlier, most sinful spoil cards have a graveyard effect. The sinful spoil cards with gy effects, tend to add themselves cards or set themselves back to field. So for example, you want to summon the level 6 Azamina fusion monster (btw they all have really good effects), you can cheat out the Azamina fusion monster instead of the fusion cost printed on the fusion monster, you can use the Azamina polymerization to instead use the Sinful Spoil card in your hand or field to be the material instead. So it's 2 card fusion monster, but like I said before it's a Sinful Spoil card with a gy effect to put itself back to the field in set position, so it's actually just A ONE CARD COST TO FUSION SUMMON THE LVL 6 AZAMINA FUSION. This becomes even easier with the Sinful Spoil Deception Continuous Spell card that searches out the Azamina polymerization spell cards. Since the continuous spell is a Sinful Spoil card, you have all the requirements to get 1 card cost Azamina level 6 fusion monster onto the field by sending Sinful Spoil Deception to gy. Then the said Sinful Spoil Deception card gets set onto the field so that quickplay Azamina card if you have it in your hand can fusion summon during your opponent's turn using that very same card that got set as cost for the fusion of another Azamina level 6 fusion. You get what I am talking about, it's easy to summon level 6 azamina monsters that cost only 1 card to fusion summon using just the Azamina polymerization cards. I could also mention the Azamina fusion monsters, but they all are very powerful and each one of them are worth summoning depending on the situation. But all the fusions are S+ levels of strong especially with the Azamina poly spells cheating them out and making them very cost efficient to summon. Last thing I want to mention, both the normal and quickplay Azamina spells have gy effects as well. The normal spell essentially recycles the Azamina fusion monsters so you only really just need 1 copy of each of them and the quickplay revives the azamina fusion monsters during your Main Phase, which is super powerful for the followup.

soooooo fiend of the whitewood is a floodgate? like we all know that a card that just summons an entire type at instant speed will just do broken stuff eventually when they decide to print the appropriate illusion monster also i do hope that they just ban sinful spils full snake eyes combo+ no bitches+ your gay+ gg shake may hand. that new archetype feels like it is trying to make diaellstar a deck and not just an engine and i love the idea of summoning her search the sinful traps send her in the opponents turn get another search and then recycle with wanted but i presume wanted will be hit and not unhit for like ever but it would be needed for that type of deck

I'm definitely in the minority here, but I kind of wish that Illusion had stayed "archetypeless". Just a whole bunch of cards united by the fact that the monsters can't kill or be killed. Really would have bred creativity, and encouraged players to experiment with every new Illusion. And yes, I know the Chimera cards are technically an archetype of sorts, but they're generic enough to not really count.

Konami keeps making Fusions because they're insanely biased towards the mechanic. "We made an entire lore set across multiple years where the only mechanic that was being marketed was Fusion." "Tier 0 Fusion deck." "Next lore monster's final boss is a fusion." "Tier 0 Fusion engine." "Rush Duel gets Contact Fusion." "Next lore has the bosses be fusions again." Personally I think it's because it lets them be lazy with card design. Instead of needing to think "how do we get out this boss monster" they just say, "Print a Fusion spell and have it move cards from any place to any other place and summon a Fusion monster. Heck, just let it summon the Fusion for free."

I'm honestly considering selling all the cards I've collected over the past 6 years and quitting the game. Wether it's tenpai, snakeye, silenforce , etc. It all feels the same nowadays. And when Rogue decks aren't even close to competing, this makes players like me not see the worth of buying cards / playing the game in general. I have other interests, I have a job and don't have endless free time. I will not be spending money and time on a game I only half enjoy anymore. Guess I'll give magic a shot.
