I swear my KZfaq algorithm experience feels like I rolled 97 Need on a weapon I’ve grinded weeks for and seen drop 4 times just to lose to a 98. And Thank you!

I'm normally kinda "eh" on FFXIV fan covers, but seeing a cover of this specific track piqued my curiosity. This shit's great. Never would have thought of this song as a candidate for a metal cover, but it absolutely works.

Transcribing the edm, orchestra and vocals into guitar parts were easy. The hardest part was deciding the vibe I wanted it to have. I’ve been listening to a lot of Chris Turner (Oceans Ate Alaska) lately. I wanted to lean more towards his style of song writing without going overboard and still keeping the theme of the original song present.
