Matt. there is a place in Gilgil the only one in E. Africa that trains tractor drivers to be professionals. They learn all manner of skills including how to fix basic problems, how to use and drive the tractor because the couple who started it noticed how many tractors are left unused in Kenya due to maintenance issues and a lot can be avoided by the know-how of the tractor driver saving you a lot of costs. Once the complete the few weeks intense course they become certified tractor drivers. The govt subsidizes the training for the tractor drivers.
