4 жыл бұрынA quick look around the farm at some of the kit we run. There's a few bits that didn't make the video (I think I could do a whole video on each piece of kit)! So here’s a quick run through of some of the machinery that we have here on the farm.

I studied agriculture in Devon in the 80's, on the college farm the star tractor was a ford 6710 I rated it highly, and I was loyal to Massey. The swapped pipes to the hydraulic steering, we would do this on purpose for a reversing a trailer competition , quite tricky!

New scriber here from Hillsboro Centre New Hampshire 🇺🇸. I agree with Best on Farm, the Gator👍. Mines a 2017 825i gas, deluxe cab like yours plus tall cargo extenders, full body bars, rear work light,warning beacon, LED hi beams, heater, wiper, front tow hitch. 6,000 miles, daily driver working 1790 farm property, mega landscaping, fire wood. It's the mutts Nutts👍✌️😷🇺🇸, 🐓🐔🐾🐾. ps, 2nd fav is my 1951 John Deere A w/ 7foot sickle mower. I enjoy your smaller operation✌️🇬🇧cheers

In the last couple of weeks i have aktually been bailing in a 8345R with a Krone bigpack isobus HD and a pomi behind the baler. Lovly mashine

Thanks Nick for showing us round your Machinery on your farm. You have a nice mix of old and new and it works for you. You are wright Nick about the new tractors and computers when they work they are wonderful. When they stop working they are a real pain. Your old girls never had those problems and I say bring them back. Great video Nick

Nice to see a English person with a farm on here. Does bring memories back from child hood in the old fords. New technology you need a master's. First time to see your channel! Harvest season now , some videos in that lexion

Spent some hrs on a 7710 and 8210. MF 2680. JD 3650 and 4955. 532 loadall a few yrs back on a lorry driving job. Used to load my loads of wood chipping. The tractors were basically when I was a teenager at the farm where my late Dad worked.

I used to drive a 7700 with terror tires lime spreading for a contractor. The 7710 deserves a restoration.

i think they brought out a new holland t6 that dosent have to much electronics like an older tractor im guessing responding from the demand of farmers wanting a simplar more mechanil traditional tractor

On the family farm we had a 1956 major used regularly up to 2000, bomb proof, in the 70's I spent hours on it. The old ones something about keeping them original.

Its so good to find a working farm video, new sub here with a lot of catching up to do. The Deere and the JCB's are good but I much prefer the Fords. Give me levers and pedals over buttons and switches any day and the only screen I like to see in a cab is a windscreen. Good, honest video, thank you for your time.👍+🔔

loved the Ford 7710 I used to fit all the windows on the cab production line, bloody hard graft but it was fantastic

Great video Nick, in my opinion leave the fordson paint as it is👌 if you can get the old bettinson going it could be a handy light weight drill for cover cropping, would look good behind the 7710.😎👍

our john deere gator is comfortable and it goes 48 is the highest ive gotten it, it was 16,000

Great video mate we used to have 4 John Deeres but the back up wasn't great considering we were out in the sticks. We now have a Local Dealer that specialises in Claas and New Holland so we switched. We grow potatoes, Carrots and cereal crops so we need a few more machines then a general farmer does.

Great video nick, two sprayers in the shed? Do you do your own baling or chop it all? What do use the bomford machine for?

Yup we never parted with the older one so it’s there as a back up 😂 as for straw we normally chop most of it, might bale a bit this year though

If it’s for tillage better to have the tractor they have for better pulling and more weight in it on heavy tools

No electronics on a good old fashioned Fordson Major..In 45 years it's never ever failed to start..Computers arent necessary to do farming
