Hi when we cleaned the shearing board we used hot water and mixed caustic soda, it cleaned up the board you could almost eat off it

Here in the US Vets will do a gastropexy on high risk dogs. They go in and "tack" the stomach to the right side of the body wall which prevents the twisting. Thought I'd pass it along just in case...

I see lots of farm videos with post knockers on the back of tractors. You've just got the BFH.

Your weather looks better than the North Island.....what is going on up there. Do you have to spray the sheared lambs after a few weeks for fly?

The shearing and the drench should keep the flys away until it starts to cool down here. Poor buggers are getting it really rough.
