So U allow for seasonal movement of the top when you bolt it to the trestle but glue a long grain board to the end grain. What do u think will happen when the top expands across its width?

Great looking table man. I would also like to know the wood you used, looks like pine from Lowe's. I would also like to know how the how the top is holding up with the side boards you screwed on. I would think that it might prevent table from expanding. I'm new and just learning so just trying to gain some knowledge. I also was wondering if the screws from the bottom to the top could have been inset a bit. Thanks

Thank you! I did use pine...I got it from a lumber yard...not Lowe's. The top is holding up great. The wood was kiln-dried. Thanks for watching...hope this helps you out 👍
