Tim is a good mechanic. He's had an excellent teacher, and one thing he will learn if he doesn't know already, is no one ever knows everything. We are still learning until we die. One day Tim will be running the family farm, and I'm sure he will do well.

it was 50/50 that the pto was actually engaged. The pto will spin even if it is not engaged, because of the cold tranny oil. But, you right, it does make ya a bit nervous.

She's coming along nicely. Great commentary Tim. I've said it before and I'll say it again. I'd love to see you put a camera in the tractor as you're running the bale stacker or baler or mower or rake. I reckon it would be great to see you do a few of your own videos running the machinery. I'm sure there are plenty of other Tim fans that would love it to.

Back in the day we had steam cleaners.....did the job but not the nicest. At my first job, being the 'boy' I usually got that job, washing the SH tractors and machinery. Another I hated was painting harrows (guess you know what they are) Dad made them as well, so had the dubious pleasure of painting them at weekends as well sometimes.

@paulcopeland90357 жыл бұрын
I don't know this to be a fact, but I am guessing the pressure washer is a "Hotsy" brand. Put the right tip on that wand and turn the pressure up a bit and you will no longer have an "old paint" problem. Great tool to have around a machinery business.

Careful with the pressure washer on the radiator. Sometimes if the pressure is too high, it'll fold over the cooling fins.

Wes I have never had anything to do with a tractor that has a narrow front Axle/ Steer and really would appreciate it if you would tell me a couple of things, was that style with the 2 close together front wheels called any specific name for that style, now one other question is I run only a little 80 Hp tractor in steep Country and man it gets your attention when it drops a axle into a hole even 6 inches deep and your already on a slope or turning to a side pushing things with the loader, My second question is did the narrow axle make the tractor more stable cross ways or less, or was it more rigid compared to the modern floating I guess front axle where it seems they have a huge amount of movement and no restriction to help the rear axle. I know the type of work I have to do with my Tractor is far removed from their normal Habitat but when it is all you have and your 1 man then I make do until I can get a track loader or Excavator. Thanking you in advance, oh one other thing what year was this tractor Roughly. Garry
