Man that is a beauty, that is awesome. I picked up my A V High crop last week, picked up my two Farmall Cubs today . I will probably combine the two cubs to make one. The AV is complete. Shredded one tire on each Cub getting them out the bushes onto the trailer, One has “Gillette” Power Bar, the other Cub has B F Goodrich Silvertown’s. They will be winter time projects.

You’re an inspiration! I just picked up a 1940 Model A that someone painted the grille white sometime in its life. Normally with restorations I’m a purist, but in this case I think I’ll find some way to incorporate a white grille, just because that’s part of it’s history, and you have to keep the soul alive! Good work brother!

Well thank you! Yeah in my opinion if something was done to the tractor in its particular life then yeah why not keep it that way! There are thousands painted all red so why not keep it different but tasteful. Good luck with your 40 A!

I've heard that the white paint used on the tractors. When the dealership overhauled the tractor. The dealerships used IH fire crater and rebored the engine. At least the story I heard about the H and M. I'm sure it was the same for other models.

Yeah I believe your right because the 300 I have I believe was one of those. It is a 300 with white paint and firecraters.

I think it was the dealership saying you don't have to 30 or 50 series tractor but you got close!
