Well done video , showed most of the steps that you guys guys took. Looks like you still have your work cut out. Hope the remainder of the dismantling goes as well. Do want to see that can of bolts when you are all done, see if theere are any leftovers. Had to laugh out loud when you started down the road, looked like spring time. It was late afternoon here, I glanced at the thermometer. It showed minus 2 degrees, which was the high for the day. Better than folks north of here, their high was minus 21. Blessings and have a good upcoming week. Do you get the holiday on Monday of?

Hello Jtwes crew. I’ve been waiting for awhile for this very video. I appreciate Rogers skills and your patience, plus Sammy doing the filming. As far as the mouse/rat nest you can bring it to FL for a visit. I’m confident that I have enough of them in MI. 🤣. Roger has a well equipped shop and a wealth of knowledge. Like others have comments, wish I were there to “get in the way”! A coffee pot and a stool to set on and I would be in “hog heaven”. I’m looking forward to more videos on this tractor as well as Roger “thumping on” his Super A and 130. It gives me something to look forward to. God Bless my NC friends. 🙏

Y'all are getting on along with it. Roger makes it look easy. That impact speeds up the process. Yeah the clutch disc is pretty worn looking. I know you don't want to but make sure the rear main seal isn't leaking because now is the time to put it in. Thanks for sharing the video Joey. Wish I lived closer I'd like to help y'all.

Hey Joey. Good to see y'all doing that video. I got some experience doing all that stuff on my Super A restoration. I did extensive research. Mostly on KZfaq. However it took some discretion because some videos include methods that are not the most practical. Pete From just a few acres farm has a good video on details of doing the crankshaft seal. Its on a Super C but the exact same as what's on the Super A. Another good resource for me was my Super A parts manual, shop manual and operators manual. My one suggestion is to replace that crankshaft pulley if the shoulder where the seal rides shows any wear. Steiner has them for about $80. Mine had some wear and I thought it would be ok. I feel certain that it is the source of mine having a slight leak after installing new seal, in spite of being totally diligent in following the correct install procedure. Also the original seal appears to be of a much higher quality than the ones available today. Hope it goes well. Ill be watching.

It is a pain when i did my super a i used a puller and a bearing splitter to pull it off you dont want pull on pulley with puller jaws it will break before it comes off . That is why used a bearing splitter i could get it behind the pulley and pull all the way around it and not a cuople places . I have done 4 more of same motor when i rebuild them i leave it together pull the chrank out press the pulley off in a small hydraulic press it is a whole lot easier just got to be creative with the blocking to get around the front cover.

Good to see the Super A getting some attention. What I've done on the front pulley is use a bearing splitter on the back side of the pulley and use a slotted T style puller bolted to the force holes in the bearing splitter. Hopefully it's not stuck to tight. But definitely never use a jaw puller. Can't wait to see it done.

I would go ahead and change that rear seal. Not that big of a deal and I'll bet you'll be happy in the end. Since you're installing a new clutch, you don't want oil in there. Good luck.
