It’s sooooo nice of you to take on this project and nice people who help you out with parts and paint. Your community is lucky to have a person who gives back as much as you do. I can’t believe how great the old Farmall runs without doing anything to it. I look forward to seeing progress videos of this project. Thanks Dan

If that tractor could talk it would tell a lot of Cardinals history.

It's nice of you to give to your community when the chance comes up. It will return to you twice fold in some manner. It's what makes for a strong community bond.

Just when we thought we knew what a fine and upstanding man you are and what a great family you have, and aside from your obvious skills and personable nature, you commit to something like this Farmall project and up the ante a hundred-fold. I know you are not doing this for the recognition, but that's what I'm giving you. You are to be commended for your generosity and interest in the wellbeing of your community. Even from rural, northern California, I can see what a great place your little slice of Michigan is, Dan. Carry on.

That's a real good Christian thing you're doing for the school Dan, I hope it raises a lot of money. I'm coming over to Iowa in about 4wks time for the Red Power Roundup Show. Ihave a 1940 H tractor, it's a crank handle start and it runs real nice, just needs a respray. Looking forward to your next video. All the best. Peter. 🇬🇧🚜

The left wheel center should be steel and the right wheel center cast due to the offset of the tractor. I have a 45 A, 48 and 51 Super A if you have any questions.

Thanks. I wonder if that was why.

I had a '46 A. It's easy to tell them apart, the Supers had hydraulics.

I love how you are thinking about this. It would be neat if the school's FFA could be involved in some way. A community type project for a really good cause. Those Super A's were handy for all sorts of odd jobs.

Cast center on the right side for counter weight. Normal all the way up to 140's

When your son was unhooking the battery the ground terminal was already off the battery. Therefore the tractor wasn't grounded so touching the metal on the tractor wouldn't cause a spark.

You are correct. I tested my theory. I’ll say something about it a future video.
