Some familiar tractors. I ran a 5488 and a 3594 when they were new so I remember that new tractor smell you mentioned. Both were MFWD. Had a 1066 Hydro at that time. Now just a Hydro 70. Our Super C is a wide front so I don't need no fancy drain bucket. I fired up one of my International RD-450 engines this afternoon and it only had 60 psi after it warmed up. It is a newer 1967 model with the big Holley and factory cast dual exhaust so the way it pulls I'm pretty sure it's still over 60 ponies. LOL maybe that rule is good for some engines? Thanks much for the extra nice video.

LOL!!! That drain on the side of the filter housing is a great thing to have! Is your name Mike!? Mines Mike as well! There are a couple employees that might comment as well, just so you know! Great video for those who are learning ! NAPA is made by Wix! Great filters! I think a tractor/equipment channel would go well for you! Even if it’s just repairing sickle section or greasing a combine! Oil pressure should run between 30 and 40 PSI

We have a Farmall 1026 too. The standard tread 1026 are ridiculously rare with 59 built. 2415 Farmalls built but a 1971 model only saw 188 built. Ours is the 1971. You were backwards on the ranges. Excellent video :) my late Dad also uncle his brother bought McCormick International B414 Loader tractor Desiel motor in 1963 40 hp brand new , 1968 to 1970 bought brand new International 624 A tractor Desiel motor 60 hp too no Loader and what got my dad also uncle interested them was 2 uncles uncles work for Roads & Works Department in country area ! Plus 2 uncles on home farm and fun part the 1963 B414 cost $4.500 brand new also 1968 to 1970 624 cost nearly $10.000 in Canada currency then ! Both tractor learn drive on back years ago and never give me problems use them on farms but love power! Even Winter Season block heater for 30 mins start up like charm easy matinne to my dad use 10w30 conventional oil of ESSO brand HDX brand plus International filter for oil plus air , transmission, fuel to only one year in Winter B414 and 624 got Fram Oil filters on each because back order at International dealer at time plus Weather Forecast was horrible! But every 3 month all Desiel tractor got 200ml of Automatic transmission type 2 in fuel and lube up injection pump plus injectors too plus whole fuel system! I only ever seen on farm my dad & uncle get engine rebuilt motors plus fuel pump systems and once done ever plus did whole gaskets job to ! But did regular check up what need replacement or repair on and all tractor plus combine still run like charm since 1997 home farm sold with machinery too!

I just worked on a locomotive this weekend that has minimum oil pressure requirement of 9 psi. It's a 1000 HP diesel, so I'm not a big fan of that rule. My big complaint about most replica oil gauges is they don't give you any idea of pressure, and you have no clue what pressure the red band ends at.

1 hp / lb of oil pressure is false. Oliver 70's pressure gouges were 20lbs. from factory. You could take an 8n ford with 5lbs of oil pressure warm. Motor run great. Put an Oliver gage in it and it would almost peg it.
