Great one that, lads - my dad passed away a few weeks back - he used to take me to work with him back in the 80s/90s as a grounds maintenance contractor. I remember him chasing 10 year old me around a field on a 2140 just like that. Used to tow it to site with an old Bedford Midi and trailer. Them’s were the days.

We have an older iseki as a mower. Brilliant piece of kit. Don't ask me why, but the secret to starting it is crank it over once, glow it, then start it. It's been that way for the 15 years we've had it. Keep meaning to have a look at it one day

I drive one of them for my job and there a lot of fun with a 200lt water tank on the back of them full as you can pull some good wheeles with them

I used to be a frequent visitor to the steam fair, helping folks out with their engines then I told 'em all to get sodded when one bloke thought I had to pay HIM for the privilege of working my nuts off on his engine as it was always a drink in my sky rocket or maybe a few beers in the tent as I was a whizz with eccentric timings and gland packing... then my steam tools got nicked losing all my King Dick big big stuff like sledge slogger ring wrenches I got from a mate who cleared them out of Stratford BR depot and I just stopped going esp as it became soooooo expensive to even sniff at the place and pretty much the price gougers ruined it for everyone. I learned my trade at Kew Bridge which means I got to play with the 90 inch beam engine and a marine diesel big as some folks's house hehe
