@@DJWESG1As a farmer, we are actually paid by the government through subsidy schemes to not grow food and instead have larger verges and meadow land for wildlife. I farm a 400 acre farm in Northamptonshire and without the subsidies (if I decided to grow food anyway) I would be in deficit and bankrupt. Not to mention the government has decreased total subsidy support for farmers this year as well.

The definition of a (healthy) true adult is 'someone who is able to fully take care of himself AND able to set aside his own wants, when the urgent needs of someone else are more pressing'. As long as you can only look out for yourself and are not capable of putting someone else's urgent needs above your own wants, you're an adolescent still, at best. Plus I have been to an Oil workers Union Picnic day, and at the end of the day, all the workers and their families stayed back to pick up any trash and left the Park spotless.

to me it should be a general rule of thumb in every ones life, you leave things how they were. if you go into a room and it's clean and tidy, it should the same when you leave. if you go fishing some where it should look the same when you leave as you arrive and as you said its the same with camping.

When I go fishing or camping I always t take a bag to put my rubbish in ,& put it in any bins provided or take it home with me . I can’t see why those who litter can’t do the same ,it’s not as if it’s difficult . There is no excuse for leaving litter ,or fly tipping ,those caught doing it should be sentenced to serve on a litter picking chain gang ,wearing bright Orange boiler suits .
